Re: Sealion and Axis supply

That's island supply model used indeed. After German capture London they get free supply and rail capacity, as before.
But new supply rules make landing in Britain even less attractive option.

Sealion and Axis supply

Have not done Sealion for years, but when I did, I've noted interesting thing. https://i.imgur.com/LvZ8YIf.png Axis have several legit supply sources, but all troops not adjacent to cities/resources still have supply 1 instead of 3 you normally get from city. That rule makes sense for African desert...

Re: What are Soviets doing in the UK?

Transports move through transportation loops just as all other ships.
Not sure if Allied troops can enter USSR, never tried it.
At some stage it was prohibited because of exploit (sending British fighters instead of building any Soviet ones), no idea how it works in current version.

I don't think TCP/IP multiplayer works at all in GS, play hotseat or PBEM.

Re: Can invisible subs be hit?

They can.
If unit moves over hidden sub, combat will occur.
To prevent this you can put sub on sentry mode, but even in this case they can be detected with active ASW sweep and attacked.

Re: an "invincible" defence of France (v4.0)

Thats nasty strategy to face, but "Invincible" is exaggeration, if I remember correctly, there are AARed games where France spawn garrisons and UK spawn corps/mot. (even sacrificing lab builds), but Axis still get Paris in August-September 1940.

Re: an "invincible" defence of France (v4.0)

Using British units as fodder to delay fall of France and break Axis game was always here and was always considered "foul play". If Axis player is aware, what going to happen, he will produce ground units instead of labs and break through, but if not - it pretty much works as described. That's basic...

Re: Partizan spam

I have just loaded 1942 scenario and skipped 10 turns in hotseat mode. I've got 13 partisans in USSR (2 of them in ungarrisoned cities), 1 in Yugoslavia and 1 in Poland, strangely 0 in France and Greece. Those numbers don't look huge and they were always like this according to my experience with the...

Partisans don't spawn as corps ever, they all are garrisons.

Re: Possible 4.029 Glitch

I've seen message "Partisans in Egypt" in recent PBEM game, while Allies controlled both Kuwait and Cairo. No actual partisan unit has spawned though.
Have seen messages about Vichy partisans aswell (nowhere to be found on the field too).

Actually even if Allies take all capitals on turn 105, its still only stalemate, not Allied victory.

Re: GS 4.0 AAR (last update) Plaid (Axis) vs Vokt (Allies)

Actually in 1944 it's typically impossible to place German fighters and even tactical bombers in such way, that they reach Normandy, while staying outside of Allied fighter direct attack range. What can't be reached from England will be in range of fighters and carriers, operating in the Med. Usuall...

Partisan spawn chance depends on year, I believe.
If you are in 1944, what you write is pretty average.

Even more importantly, Arnhem was taken, opening the road into Germany. It looks like there are no German forces al...
