Re: SCW on higher levels
Generally, in several missions I managed to capture only the main objectives, there were too few turns left to try to attack additional objectives... Or else, due to the loss of prestige, a further attack would be suicide in a situation when achieving additional objectives was unlikely  Thank...

Re: SCW on higher levels
Thanks for the tip, I think I actually forgot about the existence of the aux unit control buttons, on the other hand, on FM-lvl the enemy is much more difficult to defeat and I may not be able to complete the mission objectives in time if I hold off the infantry attack :?: Yes, sometimes its true, ...

Re: SCW on higher levels
An easy way to deal with the prestige waste is to spend all ur prestige on expensive equip and store it. That way the AI can´t waste it. If u need prestige just sell some, buy/sell has no loss in prestige. sers, Thomas It's a really helpful hint :!: :D That's a really great idea, I didn't think of ...

SCW on higher levels
I started SCW at FM level. Previously, I played the vanilla game at this level and there was generally no problem - I reached Kasserine and I still win without any problems and maintain my prestige at the level of 2000-3000. However, with SCW it's different because allied units that I don't lead but...

Re: Historical mods by Kondi
On the other hand, there are radar specializations in the game.
Here, it would probably be more about the P-61 expanding these specializations ( "seeing" objects in the fog of war), but it is rather impossible
Spotting also applies to targets on the ground, which you won't see with radar

Re: Historical mods by Kondi
Have to check it. What I rememeber is the fact that Flying Tigers received P-40 E in spring of 1942, before this date there were earlier versions (they used export version of P-40, Tomahawk - so it was like P-40 D at most) . AVG had rather obsolete aircraft. EDIT. But good enough to fight Ki-...

Re: Historical mods by Kondi
Regarding of my experience with the tactical bombers during Allies Defiant i don't buy tactical bombers so the hurricane IV was a little suprise for me and i change my Hurricanes IID to tactical Bombers as well to upgrade them. i had only one TBF Avenger which i upgrade to a mosquito. So in everywa...

I liked it to play and it was a bit more challeging i would say with the more historical usage of units compare to the standard version especially that you bring in Hawker Hurricane IV as a tactical bomber was very nice same for the mosquito i liked thi...

The only Chinese armored unit equipped with US tanks that actually fought (in northern and central Burma 1944-45) was composed of mixed Sino-American crews.

Re: Order of Battle: Allies Victorious Unit questions
4. No British Shermans? No Firefly? How about mine rollers, flail tanks and Churchill dustbins? These were really important types in the D-Day invasion and the ensuing french/belgian/dutch operations. The funny thing is I see these units in the units.csv and they should be available on 6/6/44. Sher...

OoB 9.2.2. no mods screen
I updated the game to the latest version but there is no mod selection screen now, only a startup movie appears.
Any ideas what to do?
