Re: Panzer Corps 2 - Dev Diary #8

My question to the developers is - if there are going to be naval only scenarios, will it be possible to bypass them? I can't speak for any mainline campaign, but this is an interesting topic for me personally. As some may or may not know, I'm a big fan of what might be considered... controversial ...

Re: Panzer Corps 2 - Dev Diary #8

I appreciate that some players are keen on naval combat and are looking forward to its inclusion in PC2, and I also understand why the developers are expanding it compared to PC (by the sounds of it), but it's not something that interests me. I just don't see the attraction of only having a single t...

Re: Panzer Corps 2 - Christmas special! Dev Diary #7

Hello All! The holiday season is upon us, the year 2018 is almost at the end, and it is a good time to pause, look back and summarize what was achieved, what were our successes and failures. It's time to post diary #8 focused on naval combat. I realize it hasn't been a whole month, but diary 7 didn...

Re: Replacement 'equipment' file anyone?

Firstly, this thread would have been better with a subject line referencing the 88mm as that is what it's about :? As to the usefulness of the weapon in question, it does need some effort to cart it around, but its range of 3 in AA mode make it effective against enemy aircraft, and as it builds up e...

Re: LOV REDUX... ready and online!

Downloaded and installed with GME no problems. Had a quick play through the first 2 training scenarios with no problems. Will continue when work/life allows

Thanks Soldberg and any other contributors for more content to this great game :D

Re: All Aboard! (Working Title)

Morning AG, first all of all let me thank you for contributing to the community. I can see it is disappointing that no one has replied to your post. I can only tell you why I passed on this one and maybe it is the same for some of the others who viewed it but did not reply. Firstly, like most player...

Re: Beginner Friendly Content

I played through the base game on General and read the forums for help on some of the tougher scenarios (Bagration and Lake Balaton). Once I finished I had a better idea of the game mechanics and how the AI worked so I played through again on Field Marshal. Then I played Afrika Korps, which I really...

Re: Why "3D" Graphics Will Never be Good for PzC

This is a very interesting thread and despite: "...In retrospect, I think that we stopped doing content for Panzer Corps too early"... (yes, yes , yes :-) In case no-one else says it; This level of detailed engagement with the enthusiasts of the game is VERY encouraging and VERY good and I would ha...

I'm another "Old Panzer General Veteran:"...and as a result have some request's that if I was 20 Year's Old, would not even consider!. To begin with, my 'Eye-Sight is not as sharp as it once was. In consideration of that can some accommodation be made for...Example: The option to increase the size ...

Re: Status Check for GC

AnalogGamer, your experience sounds very similar to mine, as well as your approach. I'm also still getting the hang of the GC and surviving (and improving, I hope) despite getting knocked around. There are definitely times when I have had to get replacements during the scenario for vital units that ...

Re: Why "3D" Graphics Will Never be Good for PzC

I can see both points of view here. I can understand that the developers can't just roll out another Panzer Corps and expect people to buy it. There are many gamers today for whom style is as important as substance. However, as soon as 3D was mentioned my first thoughts were negative. The graphics o...

Re: Best Infantry Unit

I always include at least one Pioneer unit with each assault group. As many have pointed out they have their weaknesses but they are one of my most used infantry units, although I wouldn't use them for defence. I agree broadly with auda that a mix is best and that is was what I always go for. The Kr...

Re: Historically Accurate Battle of Caen

First of all, thanks for you work and for sharing it. Is this intended as a multiplayer or solo (vs AI) scenario? If solo is it intended to play only from the German side? I loaded it to have a quick look. One thing I noticed was that the victory conditions aren't stated before the scenario and aren...

Re: Otto Kittel and Walter Nowatny

When stat-ing these special pilots, we used a particular piece of historical fact to dictate their abilities: These men were KIA, they did not survive the war. Your struggle to keep them alive seems eerily appropriate, a reflection their historical struggles. Definitely above average, highly skille...

Thanks for all your work BNC, I came quite late to the PzC party but have collected and tried many of the mods as well as ploughing through the official DLC. Good luck in wherever life takes you :)

Impressive Keen, I guess you had the advantage of knowing the map. I think it would take me many attempts to get anywhere near your result. It's good to see someone trying something different. Good effort.
