Evading is different to normal movement. Cavalry for instance can't normally zig-zag around obstacles, but they can do that if evading.

If you turn on line of sight, and your unit can see the enemy, can the enemy always see that unit? I have some hidden units and I'm wondering how I can tell when the enemy can see them.

I know that Richard is dead against equipping Medium or Heavy Foot with javelins. I can't remember exactly why, but I think it is something to do with previous problems with other rule sets that had this feature. Now - this is important - routed elephant unit will cause cohesion test in friendly units in range of 2 squares. So if there is a fragmented unit in range - it will most likely break causing additional cohesion tests in friendly units. With a bit of luck this in turn may cause multiple morale drops...

That's great, I had hoped that would be the case, it should happen in melee, too. Do light horse javelins also do better against elephants (so that it counter-acts being disordered to a greater or lesser extent)?

Note that javelins are no more effective against elephants than other shooting weapons - not how it should be, but I asked about that a while back and was told no, there's no difference between javelins and bows when shooting at elephants - unless you shoot with something like Cretan Archers or Immo...

How do you determine when a player will have to put units into garrisons? Does a player have to had put units into a garrison in order to be able to get reinforcements if you choose a reinforcement option?
