The AI is key for me, if it's too dumb, then I won't buy the game. A dumb AI was the reason I gave up on all the Civ games @13obo.
Btw. why are AT and artillery guns not manned with animated soldiers? :)

Yes, when I reload or when I move one of my units to the hex with the ghost unit, then it disappears completely.

Soviet-Conscripts still have the Samurai-Infantry image.

Most losses during WW1 and WW2 were caused by artillery, if I remember well. I have never had any problem with heavy artillery in OoB, ever. It was powerful, as it should be. I tried to replicate that fog of war issue but I couldn't, everything was fine this time.
I guess, that it's some kind of a bug, which appears at times no matter what scenario.
I also noticed, that you occasionally have no fog of war at places on maps, with no reason and no friendly units around.

Good catch. Yes, I modified a little. I replaced airstrips with airports in some scenarios (no other changes) but that shouldn't affect the sight of units or the fog of war.
