Given that the patches and DLCs only affect MP, its effectively dead to a campaign/offline only player. Why would he give his money to a DLC that won't give anything in return except a short campaign and using the ships in another unfun sounding campaign ? They don't only affect MP, but he said all...

I would get 8 missions that I would run through fast then have nothing else from it. Well at least its money I will save. So you don't want to play this game any more then? Doh, I just glanced at it and thought you had 2 Artemis, not Atlas.

It made sense since 2 Artemis is much better than 2 Atlas and a Minotaur and it was exacly 8000.

I hope they'll sort your issue, but you're not missing anything.

When it first came out, fleet chatter was interesting for about 2 minutes, but that was enough.

I turned it off and never had the urge to turn it on again.

Physics of entry and exit jump vectors aside, you're coming out of a jump pretty much blind, so I like that you aren't always in optimal position with regard to enemy units.

I don't believe it affects accuracy either.

However, speed can minimize the time you're in the effective weapon envelope, so higher speed can mean less damage under many circumstances.
