You can't install Lumens alone - it's and add-on to 1.06c. It's my understanding (from the experience with 1.06d) that you'd need to reinstall 1.06e after Lumens (or you'd be downgraded). Yes, this is a mess.

Somehow "keep formation" doesn't work for me most of the time. They just change it to something they "choose" or even leave some ship behind.

Each AI faction gets a (renewable every year) "trade pool" of minerals (otherwise you would never be able to trade, because they are always "short") - this information is from the developer. On a harder difficulty the satellites are accompanied by 100-200 fighters, so your corvette probably wont survive (unless it's a really good corvette).

This is an old one. Not really a bug on my "scales". But I've also been ok with AI's "unlimited range corvettes" (haven't seen them for a while though). ;)

Lumens don't have "food" reserve.

Lumens eat energy, so why do they start without the "food" reserve? Why don't they accumulate extra "hammers" as a reserve? Don't tell me they can't - even we know how to accumulate energy.

Can't build anything starting as Lumens.

Than starting as Lumens can't build ships first couple of month.
Vladimir, this forum wont let me upload the print screen, see the Russian one.

Update: Buildings also can't be built first couple of month. Nothing can be done first couple of month if playing for Lumens!

Update: it has nothing to do with mods. It just hangs sometimes (and sometimes doesn't).

The game tries to run itself as administrator

The game installs "as administrator" (why ?!) and sets the icon/link to "run as administrator". That can be changed by the user, but requires some skills. To make things worse the DLC dose the same, even resetting the "run as administrator" on the icon/link. This is strait wrong for obvious security...

game hangs on exit

If you have a mode reference in the config, but don't have the mod's folder (might happen if you transfer the config) the game hangs on exit (need to kill from the task manager). That's weird (and extremely confusing) - it should either complain (on the start) or ignore such a situation.

Here is one problem right away - if you (buy and) install the Lumens DLC after installing the 1.06d update (why don't you) it replaces the binary (effectively downgrading you). I've had to reinstall the update the second time (it did complain about a newer version already installed, so I'm not even ...

I have that setting on, they keep their formation, they just turn to face their direction of travel. Maybe I do not understand then? They cannot travel to one point facing to another one... You can add "keep formation and orientation" option, so they'll turn upon arrival. ;) The ability to just tur...

It's the same executable for both Lumens and non-Lumens. What specific issues do you mean?
I did not know that this patch changes only the executable.
The error in the energy/"hammers" distribution causing "hunger" among Lumens.
