I can't imagine paratroops and fortresses adding anything worthwhile to the game, and I would absolutely hate random diplomacy. Slitherine should work on refining and balancing the core game rather than add superfluous "features" like the above. It's unfortunate that so many people here would prefer...

I agree that the Allies are overpowered, but disagree that the AI is very good. You wouldn't have done nearly so well against a human opponent.

I must add again that the two corps in Vichy Algeria should be replaced with garrisons. There should be more incentive to bring this area into play.

Will the ability to do this ever be added? I don't like it that the unit type changes after only one tech level, then its about five more levels until it changes again.

Germany should start with level 1 in Blitzkrieg, perhaps removing the level of Industry tech to compensate. It just seems more realistic to me.

Since it appears that the AI cheats heavily with extra resources and units even on neutral balance settings, I was wondering if there was a way to set it so that truly no side has special advantages.

Why? If you've tripled the costs of everything, and kept all other production the same, it doesn't make any sense to reduce convoys.
