Re: Order of Battle: Allies Defiant - Announced
The navalpictures doesn´t show any core navalunits, so I guess this is a further removal from the original core, naval, air concept that made this game really unique. That´s unfortunate. Sad to say, but I agree. That's about the reason why I stopped playing RedStorm somewhere in the middle. While w...

Re: Order of Battle: Allies Defiant - Announced
Loving the idea about playing smaller and more dynamic battles in this trilogy. The German/Soviet DLCs were too grindy and monotonic at the Eastern Front (even if that was reality).

This is so exciting that when I read the news, I almost spat out my coffee while taking a sip!

Re: Red Storm Release - Eastern Front Tournament
Hello! Apart from the crown of "best armchair general" and of course the prestige among the ladies that the title carries, are there any other tangible rewards for winning a tournament?

Re: First Tournament
Agreed- disbanding and deploying new units midfight breaks immersion too much.

Re: First Tournament
I think so? Might be mistaken and disbanded them when in supply and low efficiency, but pretty sure I had no issues provided the unit hasn't acted yet.

Re: First Tournament
Good games, Karis! The last rounds of the second game was quite the slog indeed as seen in the replay. 1st Test Tournament - Round 3.zip --- There's two things that you could utilise better on the map to succeed, Karis. One is to always keep in mind what your objectives are- any move and especially ...

Re: First Tournament
Practice makes perfect! Personally, I am not a fan of the map as it is too big, but I guess it is ok if it is just 1 out of 3 rounds. I am going to give my full feedback when we finish.

It is Bobo indeed, but that gets taken too quickly in public spaces hence the improvisation of 13 = B. Thanks for the correction and no offence taken!

Re: First Tournament
You're doing quite well too- wouldn't have thought to use "annihilate" to describe the games by a long shot! Will give feedback at the end of our games.

Re: First Tournament
I'm honestly excited and a bit scared! The map is big with lots of resources, and you definitely need to be ready for anything. It's good that there are no ships at least - it'd be too much!

Re: First Tournament
Maybe extend each round duration to 2 weeks? 1 turn per day for a week is not enough for a game like that to complete.

Re: First Tournament
Heya, I was just thinking- what would happen to those people that were clearly winning, but their opponents stopped playing, and the allotted time expired before the players got their deserved 100 VP? This is a situation clearly different from a 'no show' of the opponent, which earns the BYE score. ...

Heya, would it be possible to play your turns, so we can complete the game?kurios_slith wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 11:28 pm Yah I don't really care, more talking about incentive to keep playing after turn 10 if you "lost the island"
