Stick the Husky ahead and put the MRAP in the same convoy, if any of our bearded friends appear the Infantry can dive out and deal with the threat. I tend to put UAV's in the air to provide overwatch on routes, if anything appears it either eats an A-10, F16 or Apache, sometimes you just get unlucky...

Maybe not for regular infantry but if Special Forces can fast rope down onto a mountain and land safely what is stopping them getting back into the helicopter exactly the same way? Might be a bit of a climb lads but its better than tabbing it all the way back to the HQ lol

Ive had the opposite, Ive had ANA units with training times of -1 including units such as the APC and Helicopter. As soon as I trained the unit they appeared ready to go the following the turn.

On a different save now because that skirmish match quickly went to pot after the yanks pulled out, it was because the FOB had no supply, didn't realise that my bad.

Reached turn 67 on an infinite skirmish game, overall had plenty of PP for most of the game and the Taliban were pretty much keeping their heads down before F16s, A10s and Apaches bombed freedom and democracy all over them. I rarely use Spec Ops for direct combat, I tend to use them for OPs and Sniping, and churning out hordes of ANA to lock down areas, I don't think they need to be stronger in direct combat, just possibly better at sniping, not yet seen a long ranged kill lol In my current game there is a big old moun...
