Division D Schweetness101 (Carthage, Hannibal in Africa 202 BC) beat cromlechi (Egyptian 405-343 BC): 53-27 Knowing that the Egyptians would vastly outnumber me with defensive spearmen, and have superior ranged capability with the massed archers, I determined to rush forward with my best infantry (v...

Re: List of all tournament battles?

Tropical. Round 2: 140 BC. Kingdom of Menander. Indian (500 BC-310 AD) vs Indo-Greek (175 BC-10 AD)....

Disorder and Cohesion Stacking Effects?

I'm sure this has been answered before, and it's probably somewhere in the manual, but searching the manual for it is hard because the terms "cohesion" and "disorder" come up all over the place, including on the sidebar, so it's hard to ctrl-f for them lol, so I thought I would just ask. Do the effe...

Re: List of all tournament battles?

That's also useful, although I am looking for a list of the official tournament rosters, not the fog2dl tournaments. I've found a few steam discussion threads about them: https://steamcommunity.com/app/660160/discussions/0/1744478429680848367/ https://steamcommunity.com/app/660160/discussions/0/1653...

Division D Schweetness101 - Arab (Abbasid) 874-946 AD defeated Garokan - Byzantine 963-987 AD: 54-23 Expecting an infantry battle, I lined up with a mostly infantry force with a decent complement of cavalry, but was surprised to find myself facing an army that was the opposite! The Byzantines had a ...

List of all tournament battles?

Hello, I was looking for a list of all of the past official tournament battles, just to get an idea of some fun matchups to try out.
Does anyone have access to that? Some of them I can find by googling the tournament name but some I can't.

Thanks for any help!

Re: What to try rather than Camping/Turtling

I think this is a good thread. It would be great to retain more new players (like me! sort of) who would otherwise get discouraged by losing too many multiplayer battles in a row. I did buy the game years ago, but put it down without having played much. Then, I got really into it this summer after F...

Re: Please don't make me come and get you.

But all he has is massed archers and mobs, and a few Sparabara if I am correct. He surely can't confront your pikes in the open. Too suicidal. I don't really think it egregious. he had something like twice as many infantry/bowmen units as I had infantry, great superiority in lights, and a few units...

Re: Please don't make me come and get you.

I'd say I mostly agree with Mike's view here, although I'm more sympathetic to the first example that was more camping on the map edge type of behavior. The second looked like the player had moved into roughly the middle of the map to take up a forward defensive position, which seems a pretty legiti...
