Re: Air units in PC2
Is it safe to assume most maps have an airfield firmly within player controlled territory that is unlikely to be lost? Otherwise it seems a bit punitive to have a huge (and expensive) portion of your core immediately and permanently destroyed if you lose control of your last airbase, even if only fo...

Re: Surrender mechanic
Maybe its a matter of word choice? "Overrun" would seem to make sense if you are attacking a completely suppressed enemy with no entrenchment. But one problem with that view is that you then should be able to "overrun" similarly suppressed and non-entrenched units regardless even...

Re: Unit traits and hero abilities wish list
Switchable Fighter/Recon for some, like P-38 (at airfield only). Evade trait for Recon Aircraft "Pack mule" trait for small caliber artillery (75mm or smaller) allowing for two movement points (and maybe alpine movement). Escort trait for fighters (like P-51) that allows for two defensive ...

Surrender mechanic
I don't understand how the surrender mechanic works when at least one of the surrounding units is friendly. A unit can move "through" a friendly unit to reach a position. But when that same unit is suppressed and forced to retreat, it then cannot move "through" that friendly unit...

Re: Future dev diaries
I'd like to see more about how you plan to tell the story of the war that links all these separate scenarios into a cohesive story. It can be immersion breaking at times, for instance, on the eastern front knowing that the Russian hordes are bounded by the map constraints and cannot (usually) flank ...

Re: Status Check for GC
This is a tactic thing, but the StuG is also fun to park in a city/close terrain hex backed up by rocket artillery (or two). Conscripts and SMG Infantry (and regular infantry in snow/rain) happily rush to their deaths attacking what looks like a tempting target. And even if you take losses, StuG's a...

Re: Status Check for GC
I'd recommend a couple more StuGIIIB's because they are so versatile. In early Barbarossa you can drive them right up to a close terrain hex and bombard Soviet infantry with relative impunity, which negates the 1 range. They are also great at providing defensive artillery fire for advancing armor. I...

Re: Can I install mods on a jailed iPad?
As an alternative, does anyone have a recommendation on a touch screen Windows tablet that could run mods?

Re: Can I install mods on a jailed iPad?
I'd love to know the answer as well. I've played everything on the iPad at least twice, and would love to try the mods, but am not interested in desktop gaming.

More Geographic and Historical Context for scenarios
I'd like to see more geographic and historical context in the briefings before each scenario in Panzer Corps 2. The briefings usually give a tactical tidbit like "watch out for a counter-attack from the south," but more strategic context would be great. Anybody who has played the Grand Cam...

Re: Pack of wishes
Any chance that you could change the current single fighter escort to multiple? At the moment you can get multiple defensive artillery support and it would make sense that the same code "could" be applied to escorting fighters. I like your idea, but think that it would be better applied a...

Re: Panzer Corps 2
Completely agree. I don't play for graphics, I play because of the mechanics and tactics. Those are the things that make the game so wonderfully re-playable. 3D means nothing to me.

Re: Panzer Corps 2
My two cents is that the game is more fun when you can use a diverse mix of units, and PC does not give enough incentive to do that. The soft cap tries to coerce you into using a more diverse mix of units (e.g. you can't afford all Tiger 2's, have to mix in some Panzer IV's), but I think a better ap...
