Re: Druzhina
Nobody is getting Drilled infantry in the base game. Mounted Druzhina will be a lot more manoeuvrable than Knights. Won't that be true for like... any cavalry in the game? Yes. But they are Superior, whereas there are many Average or Above Average cavalry in the game. Hmm, sounds fair, to be honest...

Druzhina
Hello, I have a little question regarding the Slavic Druzhinas that I imagine will be present in Rus, Polish, and Bohemian/Czech army lists. Considering the Druzhinas had a more professional character than feudal levies/knights I begin to wonder. Will it be somehow represented in the game? I imagine...

General names
Hello. I've just started watching a new video posted by SnuggleBunnies showcasing an online FoG2 Medieval match Russians vs Poles (both with allies) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiVC45X6lkQ Long story short, I've noticed that one of the Polish sub-generals name is "Mikołaj Mielecki" and...

Re: Polish Cavalry Rock.
The Melee Pistol thing always boggled my mind. I'm not even sure what it is even supposed to be representing. Because if it means the cavalry unit with said "modifier" is using pistols as their primary close combat weapon then I don't get why devs decided to make it better in close combat ...

Re: Looking for Opponents
I will take a look when I get home tonight. I am fairly new to this game, so do not get your hopes up for a great challenge. I am no push over but I am still learning how all the units interact with each other. Don't worry. I'm far from top-level as well. Guys like SnuggleBunnies walk all over me.

Re: Fatigue
Pike & Shot could use some improvements but fatigue definitely isn't one of them. It would be hard to balance in a fun way, it could encourage stalling et cetera. Maybe it could be represented somehow in a future installment as a status effect in the campaign mode (if it will be similar in any w...

Looking for Opponents
Hi there! I'm looking for opponents for a random skirmish battle. I was interested in medium Le Roi Soleil battle but if you, my potential opponent, want to choose a faction I'm fine with that. I've been posting challenges recently so if someone here was thinking about getting back to playing P&...

Re: SUGGESTION: Changes To Victory Conditions
rout gap above 60% must be at least 5% so you can't win with a 60-59 split (which is currently possible i think?) I really like this idea, especially since I found myself a few times in similar situations in multiplayer (in Pike and Shot) when we both were somewhere around 59-59 and I lost because ...

Re: Archers too weak
The takeaway here (in my opinion) is that the armour piercing capabilities of Mongol bows would certainly be at least as good as those of English longbows. While the sources you provided are interesting there are few things to consider. First of, tempering arrowheads wasn't done just by Mongols. Se...

Re: Archers too weak
We know that arrowfire alone was more than capable of turning back attacks large and small. If so then why did English used difficult terrain and field fortifications? If the firepower was enough to drive the opponents off they wouldn't need them. If English longbowmen really had such firepower how...

Re: Archers too weak
English Longbows could defeat riveted mail of common quality at 80 yards or under assuming proper poundage of the bow firing the correct ammunition. You are assuming quite a lot of things here. What is a "common" quality of chainmail? What is proper poundage? How can we assume that longbo...

Re: Archers too weak
The record is pretty clear on the English Longbow in the Hundred's Years war during open battle. Whenever they have a chance to pre-position defensive works and can entice an opponent to attack, their record is nearly flawless and their effect was as good as advertised. But the question is, what ex...

Re: Archers too weak
Just wait for the later medieval module which probably will give us the Battle of Agincourt. English longbow archers against French knights. I don't think those archers will be viewed as too weak. If the devs will try to go the "realistic" route I bet a lot of people will complain that th...

Re: Future DLC?
My preference would be a move into the Medieval era perhaps up to around 1300 or so covering the Crusades etc The devs seem to base their work on publications of Wargaming Research Group, usually works of Ian Heath. If the will go chronologically, and that is what they seem to be doing, the next tw...

Re: Give the shieldwall unit some helmets like Dailami foot and make hirdsmen armoured?
Should the hemet design be nation specific or any nation can have 25% of the same helmet? Because many nations use the same shield wall unit. This is a very good point. The types of helmets used by different "nations" varied quite a bit. Not only that but also the type, shape and painting...

Re: Give the shieldwall unit some helmets like Dailami foot and make hirdsmen armoured?
Well, I guess it does make sense for some of the men in shieldwall to wear helmets. Like 25% would be good. Helmets weren't cheap but they would be the first thing to buy by a warrior if he could afford some more protection.

No, I think I should thank you. Been a long time since I met devs so open for feedback.
