Paradox succeed without a tactical battle system. They have the privilege and momentum of a huge player base, good for them!

We definitively want to continue support Empires, rest assured :)
Do you mean support by realising DLC or the real support?

Re: Request about exporting battles to FoG2

Someone with some programming skill can alter the return file to fake the battle was played in FOG II also. Well that seems hard to achieve for a everyday gameplayer. The reason I would like to continue beyond 24 turns is that often I get lucky in a battle and although I'm weaker/outnumbered I mana...

Re: Request about exporting battles to FoG2

Only thing I would like is an option to keep finishing of an enemy army as long as there are remaining turns after the official rout (the AI should be able to do the same). Me, too, it's frustrating to get the enemy army into a position where they are about to collapse only to see DING! 40+% game o...

Re: Field of Glory: Empires - v1.0.3 Changelog

Can you please add some skirmisher units to Dacia faction as there is only light cav available (no archers, slingers or even javelinmen). I conquered two whole provinces and built military buldings but still no skirmishers. I'm not sure if thats intended or an oversight.

Re: Napoleoni Empires?

It's a good idea, there already is a Pike and Shot game wich pretty much covers that period. There is also a Sengoku Jidai which would also work well with Empire kind of grand strategy but obviously with a map of Japan

Re: Request about exporting battles to FoG2

Some nations would be unplayable if they had their FoG2 roster. FoG2 is not balanced for gameplay it just has historically accurate units which in some cases would be hard to conquer the world with. I totaly disagree with you. FoG2 has more than enough units and its definetly balanced for gameplay ...

Request about exporting battles to FoG2

I'd like to say that I really enjoy playing Empires. It it a good game with innovative features but unfortunatelly the export battle option is far from being perfect to say the least. The unit type conversion and scaling up unit numbers really spoils the gameplay. You might think it's not a big issu...

Re: Field of Glory: Empires - The Challenge has been accepted

I know players have mentioned but its not the same as looking at one

I just want to see how the minor details work through FoG2 like general stats(+2 attack), frontage, units joining battle, how are the units scale down or up.

The battle alone is not significant.

Why cant you show us the part where you import battles to FoG2?

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Unveiled!

... Regarding unit composition in FOG2 battles I also wanted to confirm that we will be able to field units that are not normally a part of certain army list in the base game. So, for example, when I manage to create a large Gallic empire and recruit scuttari mercenaries, some Italian javeliners an...

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Dev Diary #6 - Culture and Decadence

@Haircuts: Revolts come from a loss of regional loyalty mostly. But regional loyalty is heavily influenced by the status of your nation and if the regions are assimilated or still resistant to changes. So by pushing hard toward Syria, the Seleucids AI had gained a lot of regions rapidly, which is g...

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Dev Diary #6 - Culture and Decadence

So as I understood there are two important things: 1st is the civilization level and the 2nd is the status (young, stable, gloriuos, etc) . But what I dont get is what this civilization level gives you (the player) beside the name and Golden age (republic, monarchy, tribe, empire)? Status is basical...

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Dev Diary #4 - Commerce and Trading

From my point of view its definetly not easy. And I'm not sure if its beacause I just had 2 bottles of Shiraz. Whether this is easy to learn but difficult to master kind of thing, that remains to be seen, but for now I can say I like it. It's not straightforward like x building cost A and gives you B...

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Dev Diary #3 - Buildings

That sounds great. I like it that you have a lot of choices and even though its going to take me a while to figure out what is what I definetly preffer this over one building slot choice (upgrade or ...not). I also like the "reshuffle" option. It's unique and you can really see that a lot of work an...

Re: release in early or late 2019?

I have TRIED to follow the Paradox videos, highlighting play. They are impossible to follow. Am hoping, like the initial dev diary here, that you post detailed bits about individual parts, how they work, what they affect, etc. Start with some place other than Rome, and lead me through how the first...
