richard,

In an earlier post, you mentioned some random events and other TO only rules.... Have you posted them somewhere? If not, would you mind PM'ing them to
scott.jeske@fuse.net?

TIA<

Re: Design philosophy and the Oblique move

@Dan, LOL Geo-Metrical was indeed what was intended....I chalk it up to all the media not being available to tell you what I meant. Something about this being an election year.... Its fiddling and stupid to have to wheel, move, wheel to achieve the same result as simple 45 oblique.... BELIEVE ME WHE...

Design philosophy and the Oblique move

terry,

Any reason why not to allow the Oblique movement outside of the one base width slide? Its omission IMO creates more geographical problems then its inclusion would.

Thoughts?

Re: Anglo-Netherlands Army 1815 - army building questions

By the way just a question : Nassau is poor, LINE infantry . Historically you had the 1st regiment of 2 bataillon's + 1 landwher bataillon for a theoretical total of 2834 men . It was indeed a line regiment with ....french uniforms and armaments ....the prussian fired at them thinking they were fre...

@Graham. All is well here in Ohio. Been getting a few games in now after a protracted time away. Having fun with it too if truth be known. Im still wanting to get over to the UK for "dollies".... bases in combat:moving 2nd rankers

If a BG of knights(x) are 3x1 and in combat with some HF(Y) thusly:

_%X*
1XXX2
_y
_y
_y
_y

And the rear rank is UNABLE to move to positions (1) or (2) due to lack of space, can it ever move to positions (%) or (*)?

If so when?

Please provide page numbers not opinions...

TIA,

Madcam

Sorry for the delay... Lurker at most these days... The double wing hussars have their wings attached to the saddle; or really low enough one could claim either... At 15mm unless the back attached wing is closer to the shoulder one might not be able to tell. But being a pedant myself on certain aspe...

OLD glory 15s has what you are looking for including pictures of the Poles. they do late and early poles & Cossacks. I have the double winged hussars, armored cossacks and axe/musket haiduks. the horses are big compared to the rider on the former but the later are quite nicely animated. I am looking...

1st go at the Poles

Since the later list is not yet available when I suspect I'll get to use the Panceri as armored light lance sword/pistols to replace the Hussars (will they be DH too???) I'm looking for feedback on the following 800 point list: GC 2xTC 1x4 Hussars 3x4 superior/armored cossasks carbine/swd 2x3 dragoo...

Also remember that you'd hit on 3's to his hitting on 5s I think the impact was played out incorrectly.

twice the dice and 66% better odds to hit, the light foot, unless playing Hammy would have been toast.

John,

As much as I'd like too #1 son has a soccer tournament that weekend. Gaming outside of the occasional weekday game has taken a back seat to life.

Scott, if you show up I'll buy you an army book. How many players are possible? John, We're still waiting for you to make the trek north of the Mason-Dixon line... I think you scared of actually playing people with a small amount of talent... 8) Its one of those chicken-egg questions.
