Re: Question about the in game battles
Good answers, although still think we should be allowed to set up are units as we see fit. I certainly wouldn't leave the edges open, if allowed to set up my own units. Mountains, I understand. I try not to take legions into Mountainous areas for obvious reasons. Hills, not so sure about the cavalry...

Question about the in game battles
The battles not being imported to Field of Glory 2. OK, so, two situations - 1. I have a pretty good sized army, about 30 units and I'm fighting in small frontage region. For some reason my units don't fill out the frontage which gives the opponent an extra shot for free at the edges. I have units i...

Re: Is there any way to give or return territory to allies?
Playing Rome, I got a decision to make the Etruscans and Samnites part of the "empire". 150 Legacy points. Only problem is it came about turn 80 which was about 55 turns too late. They are already part of my empire. Why so late?

Re: Monuments: Worth it or not?
Does anyone see anything wrong with "avoiding Glorious" as much as possible? I thought it was something to strive to attain.

Re: Woa, devs, this cannot possibly be intended!
I could be wrong, but it seems that it might be that the enemy conquered it from the ally first and then you conquered it from the enemy. Based on my viewing of certain things in my game, I could easily see this happening. I don't think so, because 1) I see all of my ally's battles so I would have ...

Re: Playing on Easy ain't so Easy
I'll be the first to admit management of this Aging / Decadance aspect is confusing but thank you for your insights. I haven't spent much time in the National Panel and maybe I should have in order to monitor the trend. I haven't been placing much emphasis on culture, mostly managing armies in orde...

Re: Regions: Go Big or Limit??
So in my last game where Lusitania streaked like a meteor to the top of both the CDR and Legacy, I built as many food producing buildings as I could in each region. Then I built the wells and such and health and such so that my populations would also streak to massive numbers. (Now, sneaking around...

Re: 'Easy' Level - REALLY?!?
I just finished playing 500 turns on easy level with the Hiberni. Very big learning experience. Don't neglect those provincial units. Some provinces have some damn good ones, like the Gothic provinces. Heavy infantry with a wilderness bonus and 7 steps! Needless to say, when I got those, I stopped u...

Re: only one slave max after battle ?
very well thank you :D so for the next patch --- please :D --- (to help against the revolts) it would be interesting that this event rarely happens so few slaves and often if we have a lot of slave  how many slaves can become citizens with this event? only one each time? I think up to 3 sl...

I don't necessarily want to conquer everyone. I want a civilization that will "Stand the test of time!" Get the reference?

Re: Can anyone tell me... Tribal Confederation
Yes, I think I have seen that. 4950 in gold. I actually have enough to take that decision. But the last time it was offered I had about 5100 in gold and decided to wait until I am up to about 7000. Well, that's disappointing. I kept thinking once I got 5 progress tokens I'd be able to switch governm...

Re: only one slave max after battle ?
you can make slaves into citizens with no slave market So how do you convert slaves into free citizens without slave markets? I don't see how to do that. There is a decision event that let's you make slaves "freedmen". Also, to the poster about slaves and there should be more. I played a game post ...

Can anyone tell me... Tribal Confederation
Can I progress any higher? Or move on to a monarchy? Or am I stuck in Tribal Confederation and will just keep getting Glorious Ages. I was so hoping to move to a monarchy and then on to empire or something eventually after a long journey.

Steam vs. The Matrix install....
One thing I just found out and I find it strange. Both the steam version and the Matrix/Slitherine installed version pull from the same save folder. Will this ever cause any issues, do you think?

Re: All my neighbors declare war to me ...
I had one ask for peace, but it was after stomping them for many years. We went back and forth, but I kept destroying large armies they built.
