Re: AK: Mareth Line

My 88mm FLAK unit was unable to attack Allied aircraft in this scenario.

Re: AK: Mareth Line

I encountered a runtime error in this scenario around turn 13. After that, the game froze up. I could move around the map, but I couldn't select units or move them. The error occurred about 2/3 of the way through the Allied turn.

Re: Afrika Corps first impressions

The first scenario has the feel of the Africa scenario it is based off of from the original Panzer General. I really like it. Had a problem with one of my antiaircraft units (1.Abt./FLAK RGT.33) - I couldn't use it to attack enemy aircraft. I'm looking forward to playing some of the other scenarios.

Re: Pop-up messages

I think that the popup messages could add to game play, but from those I saw in scenario 1, they still need some work. They also need to have their English checked (for instance, "I've heard on your disagreements ...." instead of "I've heard OF your disagreement ...").

I have only played the Belgrade scenario so far. I really liked it. Probably has too much prestige. While I found the scenario challenging, it was not because I didn't have enough prestige. I sat around 2000 prestige points throughout. When I reached the victory conditions, I had to cycle through to...

RC 3 Impressions

I've been playing a lot since I downloaded RC 3. It's excellent and the game really does an excellent job of capturing the spirit of Panzer General while updating and upgrading it. I do have a couple comments or questions, though. - Is there a way for me to see my "dossier" and see how I've fared as...

Stalingrad Scenario

Just got done with the Stalingrad scenario in version .99. It's excellent, but may not be well balanced. I won in 20 turns and had more than 3000 prestige to spare at the end. The strengths of the units seem fine, I think it's just the amount of prestige points that the Axis player starts with that ...

Fortresses

Fortresses are nearly indestructible. While fortifications in World War II were powerful, they were able to be overcome by a carefully coordinated combined arms attack. This probably needs to be addressed unless the goal is specifically for fortifications to be impregnable.

Initial Impressions

I found that given my previous familiarity with Panzer General, I was able to quickly and easily figure out the user interface. I downloaded the game yesterday and played for 3 hours! The tutorials were excellent and built logically one upon another. I began the 1939 campaign and one change I notice...
