Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

Playing Normandy US 1944 V1.0. Played first scenario on lvl 4, got beat up and did not have nearly enough RP. Used igotnukes Played second scenario Utah on lvl 3. Plenty of RP. Took 4th victory location on last turn. Victory claims it needs five locations. There are only four arrows on the map, cann...

Conboy :!:

Front and center!

Your operation Avalanche has been selected for inspection.

I am sure we will find it meets the high requirements of a military inspection

Re: Erik's campaigns

The scenarios will be saved in v9.0, so I'm not sure if this campaign will play on native Macs. For your and Bru's games, I'll buy a PC if I have to. It's worth it. I am using the Parallel's desktop, and it works pretty good. I too had to do something to be able to play their content

Re: Semper FI

Hey Erik, playing Semper Fi 41-42, V1.0, lvl3 At the campaign map for Wake (2nd scenario), the Campaign Event window comes up with the title of "Wake". There is text at the bottom but not image in the frame. Also in the text it has "hel p" (pesky space in there) Thanks for the ha...

Re: Legacy Patch - v8.6.9 (End of Mac support)

I have been a fervent Mac user (and always will be). I am always disappointed when things like this happen but rarely surprised. On the other hand, I have had many (many, many) fun hours playing OOB. There are some games I will never get to play due to not being available to the Mac community. I do ...

Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios

Notes from Arnhem. I think the XXX Corp has a good strength when they enter the map. I think the resources were a lot better this second time. I don't have anything specific, just some general ideas for general play. The XXX Corps could come in earlier to try to take some of the heat off the paratro...

Re: Congratulations Shards, Cagi961 and Jheim

Bru, great to see you lurking about on the forum! I can vouch for all of my points being legitimate, though my dog did play one turn for me  I know I made Celeborn work for his, though he still pounded me pretty good. It was a pleasure to play against all of my opponents. This was the first ti...

Re: Thread of Confessions and Honour

In the interest of full disclosure .... In my fourth turn against Celeborn, as the Germans. I got a PBEM server error at the end of my turn. I tried three times to retry the connection. It did not go back to the matches screen, nor give me another chance to retry. I had access to the options window ...

Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios

A report from Nijmegen Just wanted to drop you a few notes, probably stuff that was evident in our play through As before, it would be nice to have a rough idea when German reinforcements are going to show up. My front line was in full retreat, and ran head on into the Fallschirmjager headed to rein...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

A funny thing happened to me on the way to Lolobau Island .............. New Britain 1943-45, Ver 3.1; level 4 So I rescued the POWs around turn 31, and the scenario drops Two DD's (one is the Maddox) and a POW transport in the bay. I moved them toward the southeast. In the meantime I have 6 transpo...

Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios

Erik, My comments from our Eindhoven rounds Though I always felt like the US troopers have the advantage, the end results surprised me that it was so close. As the US troopers (Minor victory) I did not really feel threatened that the Germans were going to take two victory locations. Since we both ex...
