Re: Ottomans and their enemies - new team event

I would love to play but I'm moving (finally ,after 2 years of searching!) in to my new French house on 4th November and I suspect I will be very busy for the foreseeable future :-( If you are short of players and you can live with possible slow turn around then put me down , either side will do me....

Re: Early Middle Ages: winners post your results here . . .

Division E TomoeGozen (Byzantine with Arab allies) defeats ggarynorman (Pictish with Scots-Irish allies) 58 -31. The massed Pictish infantry found little help in the terrain and could not avoid the mobile Byzantine cavalry being able to get around flanks and pretty much pick which bits they wanted t...

Weird , I thought they were smaller , Haha! Must be an illusion due the colourfulness of the figures!

Re: Field of Glory II: Medieval is coming soon

Is it just me or has the scale of the figures compared to the scenery changed? It doesn't look so good to me scale wise but that may just be an illusion created by the snazzy colourful units and banners :-)

toska (Sassanids with arab allies) defeats TomoeGozen (Soissons) 46-19

Hi Pete,

I can't remember when the battle finished but Toska seems to have forgotten to report his Div F defeat of me.

Cheers,
Dave

Re: The Rally Point (discussion and questions)

Ok , i'll join in .. At the start of the DL I had around 16 games going but it was too many to be honest. Got confused and a little tired! Too many plans to remember :-) So now I've only got 6 on and I suspect I'll run them down a bit and then issue some more challenges. If someone challenges me I'l...

Liking the Vassal rules :-)

Any definitive thoughts on what they would need to do to regain their independence?

Pool B Group 1 TomoeGozen (Egyptian) defeats Tresantes (Cypriot) 60 - 45. After the initial sensible clashes along the line with both sides' right wings gaining some success it just turned in to a crazy random mess... There were units all over the place and in the end it came down to who could get t...

Re: Alternative Gameplay Mod Tournament

I did have a potential issue show up in this second game vs Chris. I had a Triarii unit facing an enemy infantry unit with an enemy cavalry unit in its rear. The game would not allow me to turn the Triarii unit such that it only exposed a flank to the cavalry unit saying that it could only do that i...

Division F TomoeGozen (Soissons) defeats SSB (Bosporan) 51-24 A mass of Bosporan cavalry on my right was kept busy for most of the game by my limited cavalry and some very resilient sub-roman foot whilst on the left my warbands went to work on the more squishy bits they found there which allowed the...

Round 3 Tomoegozen (Pyrrhic) defeats batesmotel (Roman) 53-43 (and once again I had forgotten that the game ends at 50%!) I planned to hold the centre with my pikes , anchored on a large rough hill on my left that I filled with lights and mediums whilst pushing my cavalry around the right to hit the...

Re: DiSp: Dividing the Spoils - Tournament 1

In an unmitigated disaster for the little known ex-stable lad of Alexanders companion cavalry ,who had somehow found himself in control of a satrap or two , I have lost my last province to that dastardly rbodleyscott character losing 15-44. In a bizarre battle of manouver designed to try and take ad...
