errata British Heavy Cav 1815
Hi Terry, First of all, thx for your game during IWC Brussels 2014, I enjoyed it, even if your Flank attack completely trashed me :oops: ! If you remember, you advised me to try out LARGE Heavy Cav units in my Anglo-Belgian list; However, apart from the already discussed Cav restrictions for this Li...

Hi, This year I will visit the Naval Academy at Monterey, California, from 18-31 Oct 2013 and would like to have the opportunity to play a game with an US opponent. I am from Belgium and have a lot of FOG Ancients experience and starting FOGN; Please note I will not be bringing my armies overseas. I...

Re: Basing 15mm British
Hi, I am basing my 15mm British battalions in 2 bases (8 figures each), so a brigade of 2 bat (4 bases)constitute a small FOGN unit, 3 bat a large unit. As default I base this brigade (32 fig) of 2 bat, 1 bat with 3 grenadier figs and Kings Colours, 1 bat with 3 light figs with Regimental colours). ...

Re: What does a skirmisher bases look like.
Thanks every one for the replies. Where in the rules does it define a skirmish line as an extended line, I would have thought they are two different and separate formations? They are two different things, but a unit can be in both if it is skirmisher capable. Last weekend I had the honour to play a...

Re: Howitzers?
So in the POA-table 'siege' artillery is actually 'heavy' artillery ?
There is no difference with a howitzer ?
Quid mortars, are there included in any army list ?

Re: Howitzers?
Like wise question for heavy art attachment : what is the extra 2 points for compared to a medium attachment ?
Unless a heavy art unit can only have a heavy art attachment and a medium unit only a medium attachment, but I have not found a rule for this.
Thx for the clarification,

Re: Uniforms Belgian Militia
Hi, I finally have my answers regarding the Belgian militia, thx to the support of the Dutch army museum. It seems the Belgian militia were the first (and thus only troops in the waterloo campaign) to have been issued the new Austrian style shako with white metal sunray plate and rearvisor; same as ...

Re: Uniforms Belgian Militia
Hi Philip, Thx a lot for the link; Unfortunately it seems not to be that simple. On the website of the national Dutch army museum it is stated that the depiction of 'Belgian' militia headgear is probably wrong and they should apparently wear 'belgic shakos' but this is not certain; I have asked them...

Re: V2 Printed proof approved!
Hello, I also pre-ordered my POD copy ! Many players (me included) were upset when Slitherine announced a sole digital nonprintable version and thus requested firmly a printed version as well; however no one at that time expressed a caveat or cap on its price; When Slitherine correctly responded wit...

Thx Jilu,
I know of this site, but as the Belgian Militia did not fight in this campaign, they are not covered here;
Still curious what uniform they wore;

Re: Anglo-Netherlands Army 1815 - army building questions
.....Mike has said he would look at some wording. Let's see what he comes up with It seems there is a consensus the minima of British cavalry is too high. Any idea when there will be an 'official' ruling ? I am in the market for an Anglo-Belgic army for some time now but still am not sure of its co...

1800mm cavalry
Attached a few cavalry actions; I also learned a lot during my visit, i.e. the local guide in Smolensk told me Alexanders' Guard Uhlans were all selected for their red hair and bleu eyes, in addition they shaved their eyebrows ! I could not verify the facts but the guide seemed very good informed. O...

AFAIK our Leopold was a Russian Cuirassier general and charged in the battle of K...
