Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

I finished Normandy v1.9 again as the Canadians. It went very smoothly and there wasn't too much to report on, and all my notes for Bois du Homme and Falaise have already been mentioned in previous post. Juno - Works very well and I even managed to capture the trucks for the first time. The only thi...

Re: Erik's campaigns

This should be set for "Turn Start" event. That is, if you want the player to be forced to play out all the turns. If not, then delete the "Check Turn" condition itself. Nice find Bruce. I think the original reason for waiting for the last turn must be that when we capture the 3rd objective, a new ...

Re: Normandy UK Campaign beta-test

I've been enjoying reading everyone's experiences. I had been hoping for someone to share their Juno D+1 experience so that maybe I could learn something for my own efforts in this scenario, but since that hasn't happened yet it's best to share my comments now. It took me 6 attempts to get a win on ...

Re: Spanish Civil War Mod (v0.45)

I've really enjoyed this campaign so far. And I appreciate the pop-up events as they add a lot of flavour to the scenario, I don't think you over use them. The first few scenarios don't seem to have any issues and were lots of fun. Just finished the Western Mediterranean and missed a Major because o...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Notes from US Corp 44-45: Omaha - When clicking on Primary Objective details Louvieres does not get an arrow identifying it as an objective location. It had no effect on the game play. Point du Hoc - I unexpectedly got the Minor Victory without capturing Lison. Looks like Point du Hoc is being count...

Re: Normandy UK Campaign beta-test

The new Juno update works well. Didn't think I'd need all 40 turns but I did, it came down to the very last turn, so it should be good now. At the end I had over 1800 RP's so it looks like the per turn allotment went up? Probably wasn't necessary. This time the command vehicles were at least spotted...

Re: Normandy UK Campaign beta-test

A few more notes. Villiers-le-Sec - Canadian Air CP's as noted in previous post. Everything else seemed fine, a nice short scenario. Cristot and Caumont - The scenarios were good, my only issue is with the single exit hex for aircraft. It was especially painful in Cristot as you have 4 aircraft with...

Re: Normandy UK Campaign beta-test

I can depoly, 2 out of 3 available air units, I was suggesting 9 aircps instead of 6. I cannot take a screenshot to show, but NZ flag, income points and aircp attributed to this faction are there in my map, yes. Best whishes, I saw the same issue but the available CP's and RP's were Canadian not NZ.

Re: Normandy UK Campaign beta-test

Bruce, Erik, In regards to Sword and the air unit redeployment, my Typhoons and Mustang did refuel and return to action the first time, would that be turn 9? But by the time the non core planes ran out of fuel then no more air units would redeploy. Pretty sure that occurred after the notice to exit ...

Re: Normandy UK Campaign beta-test

I'm so excited by this campaign! So I gave Juno a couple of shots, even knowing what to expect the on the second play through the results were the same, only 2 of the 7 objectives reached. Definitely needs some more turns, maybe as many as ten? It takes until the 4th turn just to get a single engine...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Here are my notes from the US Corp 43-44 campaign. Gela - No issues Counter Attack - No Air CP's became available from capturing the airfield and the status remained a question mark until the end. Agrigento - From one of the secondary objectives we gain 3 extra Air CP's, but there are no available d...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Here are my notes from playing US Corp 42-43. First thing to note, the Specialization Menu is not readily accessible. We can go to it right after completing a scenario and spend our points, but for instance, if we make a save and come back later to play the next scenario then it is not accessible. A...

Re: Germany West 1941-43 1.7

Germany West 1941-43 1.7 Link updated in first post. Erik, I had just started Germany West 1941-43 v1.6 but only got through the first 2 scenarios so started over with v1.7. With v1.7 it no longer let me import my army core. Is this as intended? OK. With my first foray into the Campaign Editor, I d...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Here is my feedback for my latest play though of the US Navy Campaign. Pearl Harbor - Much improved from the first couple of times I played this. If I could make one suggestion, instead of an impossible objective of not losing any Battleships, maybe make them all non-core units and then give a RP aw...

Re: Erik's campaigns

U.S. Naval Campaign. I keep getting a hang up on the "Rainbow 5" scenario and nothing I've tried seems to work. Seen this before but was really looking forward to playing this campaign. Any ideas? [U.S. Navy] Auto Save (Turn End).zip Just tried replaying this scenario a couple of days ago. It took ...

Forgotten Army 1941-42 1.0 Link updated in first post Great! Another the opportunity to replay my #1 scenario, Gin Drinkers! :D Gin Drinkers - The scenario is really polished, and still loving it. Did see a typo in the Briefing: " You orders are to...". The only error I noticed was that the objecti...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Thanks for that clarification Bobster! It would be very helpful to have that requirement clearly stated somewhere in the scenario description or victory conditions - the Allied counterattack pushed my paras off those two airfields early on but once I was able to break through to them and they had a...

Re: GermWest'39-'40 15Haag victory glitch

Just finished 15Haag scenario and found glitch in victory triggers - captured all the primary airfields as required but did NOT give credit for Ypenburg and Ockenburg…. as can be seen in the pic. Had those two in the bag for many turns previous and failed to register - gave me a draw instead.... I ...
