Re: AO Generalissimus Alberto Bertorelli Adventure
AO 1946 - Operation Kowboy Moving from New Mexico into Texas was the next part of the Axis plan. To this end, Japanese forces under general Bertorelli assisted by the Hungarian armored division were supposed to be the vanguard probing American defenses. Main goal was to cross the Pecos River and es...

Re: AO Generalissimus Alberto Bertorelli Adventure
AO 1946 - Ground Zero Moving through New Mexico was supposed to be a quick task. The goal was to just travel east and combat any Americans on the way, crossing the Rio Grande and rushing towards Texas. However, there were two additional concerns that the Axis forces needed to consider. One of them ...

Re: AO Generalissimus Alberto Bertorelli Adventure
Good luck to General Bertorelli. It looks like his army needed a lot of expensive reinforcements, the prestige gain looks small. The final number I provide is always before replacements after the battle - it's the final value from the end mission screen and since it's more efficient to do elite rep...

Re: AO Generalissimus Alberto Bertorelli Adventure
AO 1946 - Battle of Hoover Dam Bertorelli's army arrived in Nevada and prepared to help the Japanese cross the Colorado River near Hoover Dam. The location was heavily entrenched and defended by a large American force, while the importance of the site prevented any nuclear weapon usage by both side...

AO 1946 - Operation High Fortress After conquering most of the West Coast, the Axis prepared for their march eastward. As their armies were reorganizing and being deployed into their intended destination, intelligence reports informed of large American stockpiles of supplies and equipment located i...

Re: So I bought this book the other day...
Sure! The English versions of Anderson's books are by Osprey Publishing it seems. I got mine in Polish however, so I can just recommend the few that came out so far and I had the chance to read them as some more are still in translation. The English versions have a lot more of them. https://www.ospr...

Of all the armored vehicles we have in game, I do hope we can get the Kugelblitz AA in game at some point. I would have thought it would have for sure been put in 1946. I'd love to see some crazy prototypes for all the nations at some point I was also advocating for the Kugelblitz, and now looking ...

Re: Fog of War Setting
I never tried that excisting "fog of war" trait so far, when units cant move into the dark. How does the first AO scenario work with it? Do you need to move all your planes step by step to cross the middlesea? Seville: Combine Fog of War with Flexible Command. Split the recon plane. Fly on...

Re: AO Generalissimus Alberto Bertorelli Adventure
AO 1946 - Operation Pfeffer Approach to Salt Lake City still included fighting in rather mountainous terrain, but the peaks were now much more isolated after crossing Sierra Nevada. The next major obstacle was the Rocky Mountains, and while American would certainly build major static defenses there...

AO 1946 - Operation Dora Crossing the Sierra Nevada mountains and reaching more open space of Nevada from conquered California was the newest and most important objective for the Axis forces. The mountains kept their armies constrained to a small area and had only a limited number of narrow passage...

I usually prefer commentary version for the sake of those added comments, but might have a look out of that extra curiosity. Just wondering however, why no SCW campaign?

Re: Scramble: Battle of Britain - Flight School, Episode #1
So, a question/suggestion. With how well the models look in the game, it might be a good idea to name them with very specific version types corresponding the models, instead of just Bf 109, go with the Bf 109E. If there are some meaningful stat differences between units, it can help further developm...

AO 1946 - Operation Flugelstutzen Final step of securing the West Coast was taking control of Seattle. This large city was not only the main urban area, but also as it turned out, had a massive Boeing airplane factory, disguised as a residential district. What was impossible to verify via air recon...

AO 1946 - Portland Trail Moving toward Portland and capturing it was the main new goal of general Bertorelli's forces. This was one of the largest cities in the area and the only major potential point of resistance in the Oregon state. As the right flank of advancing Axis forces was protected by th...

AO 1946 - Operation Bellerophon Codename Operation Bellerophon, the mission was for general Bertorelli and his troops to land much further north of San Francisco, way up in the forest region of the West Coast. This was an area less suitable for rapid tank warfare, thus the German army focused on th...

Re: AO Generalissimus Alberto Bertorelli Adventure
A challenging battle for sure! Just based on these initial scenarios alone I think I'm enjoying the run the most of the ones so far, as it plays out closest to what I assume Kerensky had intended. Main objectives are doable just fine, I don't struggle with them even with the most basic composition ...

Re: AO Generalissimus Alberto Bertorelli Adventure
AO 1946 - Battle of San Francisco General Bertorelli was ready to start the amphibious landing of his forces near San Francisco. Due to his decision to rotate most units aside from the Japanese, he needed to select the accompanying squads carefully. The best choice seemed to employ the help of Ital...

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Frontlines - Bulge announcement
Interesting concept. I prefer larger DLC that span over a longer period of time as I enjoy how the units get upgraded over the course of the campaign, but this seems like the perfect way to test out some different mechanics and ideas in a much more curated environment. I'll play this for sure.

AO 1946 - Operation O-Go The next part of operations aimed at making the American army spread their forces was the attack on Alaska. The initial objectives were to secure oil fields and if possible, capture the capital of the state. If the enemy decided to retake lost ground, it would mean fewer tr...

AO 1946 - Operation Tenacity As per the plans discussed in Nagasaki, the first assignment for general Bertorelli would be a probing and diversionary attack on Vancouver Island in Canada. This location was remote, but at the same time close enough to Seattle to make the Americans believe it is a rea...
