Hi, no in the current campaigns these "minor factions" cannot be conquered, but we do have plans for them going forward. That is the same reason we don't add them to your lineup - they are too small to make up their own faction, but adding them to another major faction also kind of creates an imbala...

Did you play on easy? If so, switch to normal before the end of the scenario.
Do you have a virus scanner active? If so, please add FG2 to the exceptions or disable it while playing as it may mess with our game trying to create a savegame.

Actually you can use the lizards as well - they will attack the Machnar defenders and you can stand back and watch them do that while defending against them on the edge of the river, so they don't attack your troops. This is a bug we unfortunately introduced with the last patch.
To get past it, simply switch to normal difficulty level before the last move and you can finish it. Then switch back from World map.

Hmm, in our tests the game runs smoothly even on larger amounts of units - though the difference to XCOM is indeed we have about 10 to 30 times the amount of animation, efects etc. running at the same time. Thanks as always for the feedback, we have looked at option 1) but it has several effects: Your units don't level equally, so you start being disadvantaged in late game when Levels matter a lot. It also would require more resources to hire people, which messes with the upgrading "economy" we current...

I agree. The limitations are not so much on our end, but with the new PBEM system we are using. We will see what the future holds.

Both are bugs, but while the first one is not a big issue and usually rectifies itself through the unit death of the camp unit , the second is definitely not intended and will be fixed.

The editor has been cleared and is awaiting to be wrapped with the installer by the publisher. As the next patch is due soon, they will be bundling it with that.

Interesting.
I think that difficulty is a major factor though, as this determines how many and what tier units will be fielded by the enemy and swarming or flanking against missile requires a certain amount of units.
