Well, there is a cooldown on Shriek and Charm, so they cannot just steamroll you, but yes, they are bad news if grouped up. We will look into it.

Ok, we cannot reproduce the issue here, unfortunately. If that happens again in another map, could you send us a savegame so we can try this here?

Actually you can simply skip any animation by double-right clicking during movement - so the only thing left is idle animations which we don't have that often tbh.

I think the problem with the above choices - which are indeed more dramatic - is, that they "force" decisions on you that you instinctively may reject in order to gain some tactical/resource etc advantage. Ok, I read through all the comments and some of them we will simply note - I like a lot of the ideas for items for example. Regarding flyers - with them not being affected by terrain giving them move 5 would mean they can escape any missile unit other than centaurs easily. Thus their current speed. ...

Yes- we have a system of "priority areas" that allows to create a certain base structure and then procedurally generate endless variants of this, so each battlefield, reward structure, enemy composition and loot will be different but still make sense (so it is NOT random) and be part of a greate log...

They just get stronger - 5% damage and 10% HP or something similar :). Upgrading has no pre-condition other than available resources.

Good and important thread. I don't remember well, but I feel we had more freedom in 1st FG, so FG2 is a somewhat trap for those who played FG1. Ulnars frenzy does stack, but it only stays for one turn, so you have to constantly have him attack to keep it active. Last time I checked Frenzy worked, but I will look into it to make sure.
