The skirmish system already allows several sides, we currently just don't have maps for it (which the editor solves). As for procedural maps this will need some more work to make better maps that work for more than 2 players, but the stuff we are currently creating for the dlc might help there.

We are already testing our random map generation in the editor but it needs some more UI work to be able to be released. I did just throw together something quickly back then with what is called "Programmer Art" (synonymous for hideous :) )

Thanks for the report,

This seems to only happen if you use the cave troll to take over the castle. Using Tir worked fine for me. I suspect that using a mercenary unit is the cause here.

if you mean that a retreating unit doesn't trigger an ambush:
This is not a design decision but a technical limitation which we haven't solved yet.

Added suggestion 3: the game needs a way to move a ranged unit w/o attacking, eg to move archers right under a flying unit . Clicking the hex their target is on makes them fire right away if they are in range, holding the alt key doesnt work for that purpose. Neither options nor manual have a solut...

I can't reproduce it with this savegame either.
For future incidents please follow HOW TO REPORT BUGS OR SUPPORT PROBLEMS and attach your output_log.txt (which is reset everytime you restart the game). This will probably point us in the right direction.

Thanks for the report We found a bug which would cause the behaviour you are seeing in certain circumstances. Easiest way to "fix" this bug until the patch arrives is to close and restart Fantasy General II as this will reset all items to the state they should be in and not use range extension items...

Thanks for the report.
We have fixed the issue (which will be included in the next patch) your log points to which might be the most plausible cause, but we couldn't reproduce the AI not doing anything ourselves.

One thing you can do with all chain lightning skills is target empty tiles. This way you can also extend your range by just hopping on a empty tile and continuing from there.
And it seems you did manage to shine light on a bug. The range where you click should always follow the last click.

From our own investigations it seems that the serial number isn't recognized by Slitherine's service. We are trying to find out what causes this. What you can do to help is find the file pbem3-communication.log in {User}\AppData\LocalLow\Owned by Gravity Gmbh\Fantasy General II remove your password ...

From the savegame itself it seems like you used some kind of cheat engine to manipulate the game. As the map itself is working fine for others and your savegame shows irregularities can you please retry without those manipulations. At least some of those changes have been applied before the map star...

The game already includes an editor for scenarios which is just missing on Steam because their review process took too long. All other distributions should be fine.
