Re: Leaders

In games it is also easy to min max the numbers and over emphasis the mechanical tactical ability of commanders. In my humble opinion it is common that wars are fought and lost on things such as logistics. Also, generals only had so much control over an army, once the battle had started it was ofte...

I consider the random building option to be one of the games great strengths.

I always turn the in-game music down to 25% for every game that I play.

Re: My take on exporting battles

Gamey is in the eye of the beholder, I always play both games with only one goal in mind...FUN. I export all of the important battles to FOG II and auto resolve most of the skirmishes. I sometimes pay the price loosing battles in FOG II when I become inpatient and have been out maneuvered. Getting i...

Yes, if you station enough troops in the region you will receive the message "the enemy was soundly defeated" after their incursion into your territory.

Yes I'm aware of this issue, I need to take a look for the companion patch to the DLC.
Thanks Pocus.

Re: Absorb Nation Rome_Carthage (bug?)

This must be a known issue, maybe they can/will address it with the Persia DLC and patch.

Absorb Nation Rome_Carthage (bug?)

I am playing as Rome and have been at war with Carthage for quite awhile now. I own several regions that use to belong to Carthage and a few of them are Rome Objectives that Rome currently owns (not war occupied/owns). Carthage is hanging on in Spain and in Africa near The Pillars of Hercules and ha...

Re: I am confused by amphibious ops???

I have not yet won the game as Rome although I have played as Rome the most often. I get bored of the civil wars and start a new game. I have won as Macedonia and most recently as Carthage in my last play-through. The relevance here is that when I started my campaign as Carthage I told myself, let C...

The Leader in charge of that Army had died without me being aware of it. That's a pretty big leadership gap in that siege.

Re: 75 point army exiting city under siege

Re-loading the turn and stopping the exit command yields the following result...The 33 point Dalmatian force exits the Region and the 75 point Roman Army is reduced to 12 points. A siege icon is in the Region saying that the Dalmatian force "inflicted a lot of casualties on the defending army". I gu...
