Re: How is the game?
Be warned, the game is being rather harshly rated on Steam, unfairly so in several areas. I have yet to rate the game there as I generally do not rate games until I've put at least 8-10 hours of play in, unless the game is obviously broken or unplayable, and such is NOT the case here. A good YouTube...

Re: MULTIPLAYER CHEATING
If you think someone's cheated you then make a note of the name and never accept a challenge from them again. It would be cool if the challenge screen also listed a person "replay turn" count.... A couple of things to consider then. First a blacklist might be a good thing to add to the ga...

After a lot of perseverance, your hard work has paid off; well done sir! And a big thank you and congratulations from me for sure. I'm curious now to hear how Slitherine officially plans to release this.

Re: Editing units
What do the three values for Torpedoes mean? I'm guessing the first number is reload time, and the last number is torpedo strength, not sure at all about the middle number though.

Re: Full story of Field of Glory
A couple of clarifications to Old_Warrior's excellent recap. Another reason for this decision to update was they wanted a more streamlined code for future expansions, as well and perhaps more importantly something that could be more easily ported over the iOS/Android tablet market. Also the new team...

Re: What on Earth is going on with this game's 'update'?
Hello guys, Actually, I've just finished off with most of the data file formats cleaning up related with preparing the build for the gold release candidate. I just have to fix some problems, then a new beta build will become available. After that, some finishing touches on AI, release a new beta bu...

Re: What on Earth is going on with this game's 'update'?
Okay, so it's been two weeks, and other than several posts from others like me who are either wondering what's going or have given up on the game, I still see no official response on what's going on. Not cool, man, not cool. :| At least that little link that was kindly posted by bailey4500 does answ...

What on Earth is going on with this game's 'update'?
Come on guys, what's the story here? What's the plan, if any? It's been almost 2½ years since you said this would be done in a 'few months'. Tempus Fugit! Wolves from the Sea awaits!

Re: Weekly Spotlight: Boruvian Empire
I have to say that I am really looking forward to the release of this game, and a large part of that is due to these Weekly Spotlights you've been doing, Breca. Thanks much for taking the time to give us these insights into the world of Sovereignty.

Re: Resolution
Well, if the game is similar to the demo I played last year, then while the screen res is small, the game play seemed good. I do remember though that if you went full screen in the game that it did reduce the quality of the graphics on at 1920x1080 monitor, so I just played it in a window which was ...

Re: Resolution
From what I've been reading, the game is only in 1024x768. So you can play it in a window, or play it fullscreen and have distorted graphics I suppose. With this resolution, maybe it would have been better to release this for tablets instead?

Re: Shape of the map
While I too really love this game so far, and while I also understand that from a game play standpoint it's not that critical, the fact remains that from a logical point of view we are playing on a doughnut shaped world. And one with only one pole at that. And moving over the pole presents other pro...

Re: Field of Glory: The Card Game?
Well it seems that in the span of a day, whatever issues there were with Treefrog Games regarding the FoG card game have been resolved, and it's back to green status and should be available at Essen. Excellent news to me anyway as the card game looks quite interesting.

Field of Glory: The Card Game?
I was kind of looking forward to this card game version of Field of Glory that was being published via Treefrog Games, when I read now that they have been asked to cease production, destroy any copies they have, and remove mention of it on their website. Does this mean that the game is permanently d...

Re: The Update or New FoG Can Only Come All Too Soon ...
Meanwhile, back to the OP... :) It would seem then that according to this: The existing code base for FoG V1 is probably unmaintainable without the original author from Hexwar. While the initial idea was to have someone else takeover maintaining the code, it was eventually decided that developing a ...

Well thank you sir! I had just logged in today to see if there was a new list or zip of scenarios, and you had this zip right here and updated to today. Re: Welcome to Warhammer 40,000 Armageddon!
Excellent news! And a great place to enter into the 40K universe. I had a lot of fun with the old Battle of Armageddon board game from way back when, so I'm really looking forward to this. Did I mention before how happy I was when I heard that Slitherine got a deal with GW for producing games? No? W...
