Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Hi! 8) According to what can be readen in this topic, this new campaign does seem awesome! :D I've made few little researches about not-well known facts (more or less proved  ) upon the Winter War. Here are few of them: -> Some russian paratroopers involved! :D Even if they were not ve...

Re: Custom Poland Campaign 1939

Scen. 2 : But if we send the available ATs and art (which are slow to move) directly forward to help for the defensive stand in the woods, one is anyway moving units... including the firsts recon task and the small polish counterattack to take care around the same woods, we have units moving more o...

Re: Custom Poland Campaign 1939

:D Thanks, a lot of fun! For a long time in the second scenario I was wondering: "Where the hell is this guy, the Gruden or something..." In Lebensraum-scenario, maybe simply change this text a little: "Stand by for reinforcements. New primary objectives." -> Actually, these new primary object...

Re: The "Gabe-Mod" (v8.1.0)

You're welcome! :D Oh, and by the way, what about adding an american sniper unit as well as a british sniper unit? Because the BrucErik CSD Studio creates many awesome campaigns involving these factions...

Re: The "Gabe-Mod" (v8.1.0)

Yes, but in this case it's only +1 attack vs ships (0 -> 1)... so very few damage anyway, but it offers at least the possibility to take some shots! 8)

A patrol boat, for example, can take few shots on nearby land - with this, there is the possibility to do some land riposts as well...

Re: The "Gabe-Mod" (v8.1.0)

Nice! :D And, by the way, I do like the idea of allowing the heavies to use their mortars against ships within their range. What about giving to all the different snipers... 1. an actual range of 2 ( like the mortars ) instead of 1 and 2. some "shock" effect ( of maybe 5, or even 10 like the ...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Indeed, and this is great! 8) These weapons were terrifying, which is why I still wonder if, although they don't deal much damage directly, they shouldn't have a higher value of "shock" (something more like the engineers)... For this mainly psychological impact may still reduce the organizati...

I like the idea of using these Flying Bombs... but they do actually only few damage, don't they? :(

Re: Design & Modding Guides

Yeah, thanks. :) Or one could use it's boardgame's version here as well (as a mod): http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=70800 Ok, so we find there the same kind of folders as mentionned before, in my previous post... But this doesn't tell us where to find the same kind of information in ...

Re: Design & Modding Guides

8) Let's say that one wish to modify an existing unit or, to be more precise, to create a new unit based on an already existing one... Thus maybe creating one own mod. Where can one find the required informations? The units.csv is easy to find, but where are hidden all the informations about ...

Let's wait until the devs create an official Canadian campaign and add all the proper unit types (don't hold your breath...).
 This reminds me something...

Ok, fine. :D

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

I've checked the Unit Navigator ... actually there is for example no paratrooper nor tank directly available for the Canadians. :( But as you have been able to give them tanks, for instance, it should be possible to give them paratroopers as well - maybe not in the list to "buy", but already deploye...

Re: Erik's campaigns

Don't know...this campaign works fine for me. Just tested the first 2 scenarios. I think the campaign and all scenarios were saved in 8.3. Maybe time for an update, Colonel Indeed, this update may be required  because some units have been added with this 8.3 version... And if some of those uni...

Re: Erik's campaigns

I have a problem with another campaign that I can't actually begin... :? Germany East 45 -> there is the map of Europe, the selection of the Goldap scenario (the first one, so that's fine) -> it's loading, then I click the "continue" button and then there is just a simple picture of the map... (whi...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

Now back to our campaign. This campaign is already magnificent, but I’m sure that there is now a golden opportunity to take it to new heights! :D Here is how! This involves adding two new scenarios, as well as modifying some of the pre-existing ones. *** 1. Add a very first scenario to...

Re: BrucErik CSD Studio

What about a rather quick look into D-Day history? :D You will probably figure out that I’ve something in mind  , but let’s take it easy. SO, SOME HISTORY AROUND THE D-DAY: The Lieutenant-General Frederick Morgan commanded the allied planners of the invasion in spring of 1943 when Normandy wa...
