Re: Is the game winding down?

[...] Propaganda poster trying to ridicule the difficult progression of the allied armies in Italy, comparing its speed to that of a snail. Indeed ! 8) This reminds me of some awesome poping-up events during the custom Free France campaign :D (that can be found here: http://www.slitherine.com...

Re: Is the game winding down?

The development of new DLC is so slow because they are more busy with Starship Troopers Terran Command. Ah? Ok, thanks for this info :D I really don't like the idea of the last part of Allied trilogy being the last DLC neither do I  , but I can see that being the case. If my memory is correct...

Re: Is the game winding down?

It's true that the next DLC is a long time coming... :? However, there is still a lot to do, in terms of content. :P There was a discussion here: http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=88657 And, together with historical scenarios, it may very well be possible to add some what-if scenarios ...

Re: Spanish Civil War Mod & Campaign (v0.75)

[...] Alternatively, if you have already tried my mod in the new versions of the game (8.5.4 and 8.5.6), let me now. I will still plan to check extensively for problems with the newest versions in the future, but the more feedback and computers tested, the merrier :) In version 9, the mod still see...

Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

From the crossroad , I’ve just taken a quick look (for now) at the four different options/scenarios… Which all look very interesting and intense! :D ************* France 1940 – Dinant : -> Sec obj: 4 locations with silver flag but only 3 “red arrows” pointing over some of them… :| Weillen (between A...

Re: MicroMod 3.5

MicroMod 3.5 Link updated in first post. France 1940 campaign. 01Gembloux1: Removed British and Belgian bunkers & forts in the reserve list. They were probably put there by the game when I cropped the map to the west and the south. Restricted the 'Kill German tanks' objective's targets to PzIII...

... and, finally... ******* Small French typos : Once (French core engi.) “Sapeurs-mineurs” and once “Sapeurs- M ineurs”… two times identical please. Regiment Leger -> Régiment Léger (the accents...) Genie -> Génie Locations on map ( with French accents here and there ): Bossiere -> Bossière ...

Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

******* ALLIED LAND DEFENSES : I suggest: 1. Adding a few MG-fox (especially in the northern part of the map, to help cover this flank, cover the AFs – at least one in Sint-Truiden village, to ensure that the French AA unit in Wilderen has the possibility to travel by train, if the player cho...

Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

******* Do you have French aces in the mod yet? :?: You’ve a list here (pt 3.2.3): https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_d%27as_de_l%27aviation#As_fran%C3%A7ais_2  Here are some candidates that are relevant in the context of this campaign (I think), with some translations from the corresponding ...

Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

8) France 1940 - Gembloux : Nice scenario; the campaign looks very promising. :D Here are few comments:  ******* BRIEFING : As written in the scenario descry, it’s mainly a tank battle, so we’ve not really any ground to keep (as Gembloux itself or some defensive line) nor some AFs to hold neit...

Re: Jarry's Custom Scenarios

Oh, and by the way, very nice addition, the few US marine units with amphibious transport. :D :!: Another point, as you've moved some of the units, the two northern coastal guns aren't visible now from start ( nor visible nor pointed using Red Arrows - which may now look strange, as the counter indi...

This one is different enough that I'm going to call it v.2.0 [...] Damn , you’ve indeed made a lot of modifications; I was just about to put some comments on the previous version…  In any case, the following points are still relevant ( about Scheldt v2.0 ): 1. Re: Brave New World (total conversion) -v2.0

Well, there is no income at all, which is a factor that can be interesting to exploit. And, as far as objectives are concerned, there are still other options to explore: validate some of them before the end of the scenario, unlock others (with events) during the scenario (either at a given moment or...

Re: Brave New World (total conversion) -v2.0

I like it very much. :D You know, after playing the first scenario, in which the Huszàr played an important role  I was "disappointed" not to find any in the second one. :? Fortunately, as expected, they reappeared later. :D I also find interesting the concept of support units th...
