Where can I find campaign trees for Fantasy General 2?
Ideally ones spoiling the various rewards.
Cheers

Re: Feedback from a veteran player
Actually the supply cost would kind of force you into filling your army with "unwanted" units, as you work around your supply limits, but better units would still be more desirable. Instead, we are using gold and resource cost (and the need to be able to afford it) as differentiator, but ...

Re: Fantasy General II - Patch 7 is out! New units and content
Maybe I'm late to the party but what does Unit Renaming Removed - Level restrictions on unit renaming. Name your unit whenever you want! mean? I mean how did it work previously? What was the change? Were you restricted to only renaming certain units? Or only units of a certain level? Or what? Just C...

Re: Feedback from a veteran player
Unit supply (food) It's great to see that units can have different supply requirement but I feel this system is currently greatly underused. Most units require 1 supply and there are units which need 2 supply. I feel like increasing these numbers could get a better strategic decision ability to the...

Re: Feedback from a veteran player
Exploit attack option I would like to see an option to NOT occupy enemy hex after the enemy unit retreats or gets destroyed. This gives the player more options to make good decisions. Hmm. I think we need to take a step back and think about the time period depicted. Is this a reasonable request for...

Re: Suggestion - Change "Fortify"
With respect, that game is 25 years old.
I'm not saying your argument isn't valid from the "that's why" angle; I'm saying you should expect most of your customers comparing your game with contemporary offerings (such as Panzer Corps).

Re: Feedback from a veteran player
Agreed. Once your army has passed by the initial upgrade step, your weapons just stockpile while you await armor and liquid mana to upgrade further.

Re: Suggestion - Change "Fortify"
I must say, the way you can't move after acting means a huge change in how to play this type of game.
So often I'm making a ranged attack with my archers/slingers only to get confused I can't move back to allow a fresh melee unit to guard the vulnerable "artillery"...

Re: Core units survivability
In Panzer games, the all-important quality is that you can lead with armored units. This means the AI won't go for frontal assaults, even when that would lead to the player losing a core unit. In other words, there's a really important quality of these games that are invisible. The enjoyment is dire...

Core units survivability
Hi, New to Fantasy General, but have played Panzer General/Corps pretty extensively. Maybe I just need to unlearn old habits, but I'm getting the distinct impression I can't keep my core units alive in FG2. Scouting ahead is crucial, and the sight horizon is painfully short. Over and over again, ene...

Re: Feedback from a veteran player
Swap units This feature requires the player to press a button (like movement skill) and it will change cursor to swap mode. In this mode two friendly adjacent units that have a movement action available can swap positions. This will use movement action of both units. In every Panzer General/Corps g...

Re: Impossible Siege Video
This is why we need to give them constructive feedback. Absolutely. Just to clarify: my point wasn't about "paladin auras". My point was - don't ask players to micromanage the exact path of their recon units. Instead of moving it one step, resolving that combat, moving it...

Re: Impossible Siege Video
How's that for useful recon? Sounds useful to me. ;) I apologize if my comments have played even a small part in making you sound so defensive about recon. Yes, this actually does sound useful. Thing is Kerensky, PC1 recon was useful too - that wasn't the criticism. The criticism was that to unlock...

Re: Teamwork in Panzer Corps 2
Trying to guess at what this means: If you can have 8 armies, and each army can be either human or computer controlled and freely assigned to a "team", this technically satisfies the OPs request. Hoping for more than random maps to support this, however, is probably far-fetched. (Once the ...

Re: Best feature from the twitch stream?
Technically, there is no problem to implement the old behavior as an option. We just need to add a check - what was the last command, and if it was movement, did it reveal any units. I just don't understand why this would be any improvement. As I was working on Panzer Corps and PGF before it, I hav...

Thank you for prompt replies. Great to hear.
(Usually when the devs are aware of the issue things end up well. It's the games where you realize nobody at all have even considered the issue that falls flat. For some reason, sci-fi simulator games seems to have an especially bad record here...)

Re: Best feature from the twitch stream?
Regarding Undo: Will the game support the way Undo worked in Panzer Corps 1? That is, the game DOES have undo. It just doesn't work if your move uncovered new information. (Previous posts in this thread make it sound like we're getting an "always-on" undo (that lets you "cheat")....

Re: SYSTEM SPECS
In 2019 that's very little RAM. Especially since many laptops use RAM for video memory too. (Looking at Task Manager, my system is currently using 3,3 GB out of 6,9 GB available RAM. It is not recently rebooted) If PC2 works well even with 4 GB, that's obviously great. I just don't want features to ...

I'm hearing sentiments as "numbers are too small". I hope Slitherine is planning to allow the overall user interface to scale for those of us with less than stellar 20/20 vision. There are many simulation games that are rendered unplayable simply because every developer is a 20-something t...
