2gig vram (960GTX) is the only thing mentioned, when it already states the min and max of the game before anyone needs to purchase etc so already is noted and a reply to most of your questions... so yes it will play, but also it won't look as good on the hardware owned, as it doesn't have the memor...

You must have a double installation.

I use steam and I have one folder "Order of Battle Pacific" which has 7 subfolders, the executable and some more files. In this subfolder I have "Order of Battle - Pacific_Data" and "Order of Battle - WW2_Data".
Total install size is 2.61 GB

It's a game, not a simulation. I also frown when my Panzer IIIJ in open ground gets attacked by a Soviet Guard and each loses 2 points. But the Guards units have a really high HA and GD so numerically it's right, but my expectations are quite different. Maybe try out Steel Division, a more accurate ...

If a medal received one of my units during the AI phase, it is better to stop the game because the text hides the battlefield. You also don't have time to read this. Therefore I see this as a mistake or a need for improvement. Yes, this is really annoying. Better to show this after AI has completed...

I didn't know about the 1 overstrength without a core slot cost, there probably is a cost but it gets rounded down.

Didn't know about the SA bonus when using half tracks either.
Never used them since I 1 core slot for just transport is too much really, I guess I'll upgrade a few engineers with these.

I'm certainly no expert but after a bit of reading here and here it seems the T-60 didn't really perform well at all. While for gaming purposes the GD isn't just the amount of armor but also it's speed and profile and so on the GD of the T-60 is rather high. This tank should be in the same category...
