Re: Bug Reports
Right now I'm at Oboyan scenario and I noticed strange thing. Sometimes when I split an unit, the 'second' unit loses its all movement points (cannot move) - only 'first' unit can move. Furthermore (again, not always) when such thing occurs all my units are suddenly out of its movement points. This ...

Re: Bug Reports
Race against time mode shortens scenario time by 5 turns. It makes some of the events not happening (e.g. Galland leaving during Crete invasion or offer during training scenario in AO41).
All events (except turn 0 and 1 maybe) should rather be (end - x turns) not (turn yy)

Yes, it was via cheat. I wanted to see how I can use it.
So this one was disabled? Do you know what was the reason behind it?

Bridging Hero problem
I have 'Bridging Unit' hero but when I attach it to e.g. Grenadier it does not act as bridging unit - my 'Brucken Grenadiers' cannot enter river hex, hence they do not setup the bridge. https://imgur.com/a/UczuBcY When I put 'regular' bridging unit e.g. Brucken Pioneere insteead they can enter river...

Re: Battle vs Morris 2nd Edition
Morris is great in combining Allied air power in early and mid game. In my last game with Morris I had to bring 5 FTR units to NA to be able to get to Casablanca.

Re: Does Armour get a penalty *defending* in cities?
Armor gets smashed on the defense in CEAW. Interesting part of this game is you learn something new almost every time you play or click. : ) Very complex! I would say historically tanks did poor in Marsh/Mountains/Cities cause you cannot really do much(they're not maneuvering) with them and in fore...

Re: Russia in 3.0GS is a Monster
Morris, have you tried GS v3.01? If yes what do you think about the changes to XP? That should help the Axis initially. It's e. g. possible now to get tank buster tactical bombers if you get the XP to 50 (+1 ground attack) or 100 (+2 ground attack). So you can simulate Hans Ullrich Rudel now. :) Ex...

Re: Russia in 3.0GS is a Monster
I agree but for me 3.01 is balanced. Experience changes are really great for Axis. Although smart Allied player can benefit from it too, especially in air.

Re: Does Egypt have partisans if all cities captured?
In most games players do not see partisans spawn in Egypt because the the number of hexes are small and the chance is low. Even for cities? I played several games where I conquered Egypt and kept it for 30-40 turns without any units and never seen a partisan. Although in my recent game with Morris ...

Re: Does Egypt have partisans if all cities captured?
In manual there is some listing from the file defining what is the size of partisan unit. The listing is per country. I do not remember what the file is.

Isn't 'less forgiving' a synonym for 'unbalanced'?Diplomaticus wrote:CEAW is less forgiving for Axis. That's not saying it's unbalanced, but just that an Axis player can't get away with making as many mistakes as an Allied one.

I have never seen Egyptian partisan. You can check parameter file to see if Egypt is on the list.

Re: Malta paradrop questions
In order to lower supply possibility for the unit (from 3 to 1) you need to reduce the city to the red, not the port. You can do it with TACs (-1 per each attack) but using STRAT will speed the process (up to 4 lost). When city drops to 1 it becomes red and unit inside will be able to supply only 1 ...

Just do some tests on the zones border and you will see how it works.

Base hex always determines air unit stats. You can see it where there is mud in Eastern Europe and fair in Central.

Re: German fighter losses before 42
I have the same feeling. But I am used since it is usually my 2 FTRs vs. 3-4 on Allied side (+CV). This is referring to France. But anyway I also see the organization difference to have little impact on the combat. Usually my Russian FTRs are not that inferior to Axis' even in 1942. Even if tech and...

Yes it is. For me experience tweak is one of the major changes for 3.0. It balance the game pretty good and gives new flavour for the Players.
