Re: Landsknechts and Prussians - Round Two

Our cavalry harassed Prince-Elector Dang's mighty infantry blocks until he was forced to go on the offensive. He is wiley, this German, as his breakout maneuvers nearly broke my whole army. But by the Grace of God, we regained our fighting spirit and charged at the flanks and rears of his units unt...

Re: 7 Years War - Round 2, Kesselsdorf 1745

Gdod (Austrian) challenge for King George's stand-in SMJohnso77 (Prussian) has gone unanswered for some time now. Is there any stray Prussian wanting to fill in for him against an easy victim...I mean a mediocre commander with a rudimentary understanding of how to walk forward without tripping up t...

Round 3 result Kiwiwarlord's Northern Rebels ( 55% ) have a close win over Gavin's (GDod) Qing Bannermen ( 60% ) A close game all the way with both sides having the upper hand at times. The Qing lost 3 Generals (all Duels I think ) during the game, the last falling right at the end. Thanks Gavin for...

Re: Landsknechts and Prussians - Round One

After 24 turns of fierce fight Gribol (Austians) lost with KiwiWarlord (Germans) 65:47 GG to my opponent, which suprised me a little bit with his clever tactics. What a game, what a skillful Austrian General Gribol was, I was amazed at his skill in reading the battlefield and manoeuvring his Keils ...

Round 2, The Emperor's Throne KiwiWarlord's Peasant Army 50% - Alan's Ming Army 62% Win for the Tribal Rebels A very hard fought game where the Rebels lined up and charged the Ming line on an open battlefield with some rough ground in the centre. What's everybody's feelings on the 200 point advantage? Too much? If the game was at normal size I'd say no point advantage needed, since the Jurchen are only forced to buy one large sized cavalry unit. At large size battles they have to buy four large sized cavalry units so, eh, I'm not sure. 200 ...

I'd be happy to participate in both these themes.
I think people should be able to play a game in each of them. Many of us are playing multiple opponents every day, so it wouldn't be a struggle.
Yes I agree, should make it easier to match up players too.
