I would suggest the Rommel diff. - it makes so much fun to care more of our units and the intense prestige management brings and additional feature in the game. Also probably it simulates more the scarcity of resources of the Axis. Oil crisis more simulated.

Quite my thoughs! If a player would play without save-reload and without knowing, where and when the Allies attack (not to mention the cracking of Enigma!) than the endresults would be probably the same. It was not a critic, just how I play it. I do not see any sense to upgrade on the super expensive Me 262. There will be the Ta-152 which is also a very good type and is much cheaper. Anyway at this stage of the war, there is not much to change with the air units. This tactics to let the AI have weak...

This tactics to let the AI have weakened units in front of you seems to be working. Nice idea! I would although not use it, because it would give me the feeling that I cheat the game.

I find the ISU-122's, ISU 152's and SU-100's (and the 100mm AT) even more dreadful. :shock: :) The only easiness is, thay the first two types act many times as arty and they have less ammo.

I would say, if you can keep the Allies west of the Seine and Loire rivers till the end of frozen ground in Normandy (even if they partly capture Paris), than it will be possible to hold them after that, maybe not till the end but long enough that they do not reach major cities. Turn 82 the wunder weapons serve only for propaganda purposes, not a game changer bev2-turn-82-me163.JPG ...but it is a very good magnet for enemy fighters: they occupy themselfes with it, make small casualties to it, but the do not make bigger casualties elsewhere. I used this tactic: collected them to places, where they were protected by AA (for example in the region of Paris), or could be hide from enemy air. Also filled to max fuel. Heroes make quite a difference and I always calculate with the hero units, depending what type of bonuses do they have. Maybe the heros have more value in the first 70% of the game. Later their accomplishment will be lower. Also with given type of units there is a big difference between 1, or 2 star...

I would suggest to upgrade Rudel to Fw190F, its more worthy and brings bigger survive chances.
I always rename the hero units to have their bonuses in their names: 9. Panzer +I+M+2A. Also the towed arty, or AT: 4. Arty (Mot-6), even naming the better upgrade possibiliy (horse+)
