Re: Advance after combat
There is no such mechanic. Are you just clicking too much and moving into the space with a move action? Yea, one click to attack. Clicking again is issuing a move order. This is one of the advancements over the old game. You don't have to wait for combat or animations to finish before issue new ord...

Re: Panzer Corps 2 - A look to the future
Please fix the lack of sound of the vehicles. The sound is very important for the immersion.

Advance after combat
Is there a way of preventing the units to advance after combat? The auto advance after combat, is so far the only mechanics of the game that I don't like. The units often advance to a suboptimal positions and expose themselves to a counterattack. This becomes a problem especially in the congested, u...

Basically it should be a city/town with a rail connection.

Re: Unable to deploy a newly purchased units
Thanks for the reply. It's a bit misleading since those airfields also serve as supply sources for the land units ( can't locate any other German supply source on the map ).
I assume that if I capture a Soviet supply source it will become a supply source for the Germans?

Unable to deploy a newly purchased units
I'm playing the Kiev scenario. I've purchased a new infantry unit. It's in the undeployed unit list, but I can't deploy it anywhere. According to the manual, I should be able to place in on a supply source, which in this scenario is one of the airfields. I have the unit selected, I'm clicking on the...

Re: [Boardgame's Counter MOD] 2D Counter for Panzerkrieg
This mod has renewed my interest in the game, as I was uncomfortable with the 3D graphics plus I love the board games. How am I supposed to launch it? After installing the mod, my splash screen looks like on the screenshot below, but when I click on it, I'm redirected to the original game. https://s...

Re: Infantry Campaign.
There is a user made 22. Infanterie Division Campaign, for Panzer General II. It is excellent. All those PG2 campaigns with historical cores, are waaaayyy more fun, that the semi-historical PC campaigns, that require players to build massive, tank heavy cores.

Re: Tanks among the trees
I think your counter argument is bunk. Otherwise we're fighting the battles of France, Stalingrad, and Kursk with a couple divisions at most. You can't really say what exactly the scale of the game is. It's not a hardcore simulation but rather slightly more advanced beer and pretzels, roughly based...

Re: Tanks among the trees
In addition, for me the above combat results are not difficult understand if you imagine the tank corps/divisions are just ... actual tank corps/divisions from WW2. Most of the troops were not in an actual tank and were just motorised in some way. This also helps explain why tanks aren't so much ov...

Re: Tanks among the trees
I've done some tesitng: Pz IIIJ ( not the strongest model against the infantry ) vs Soviet infantry. Open terrain: Tank attacking infantry - 3:0 Infantry attacking tank - 0:3 Forest: Tank attacking infantry - 2:0 Infantry attacking tank - 0:2 Town: Tank attacking infantry - 1:0 Infantry attacking ta...

Re: Tanks among the trees
OK, but I'm referring to a situation tank vs regular infantry ( no vehicles ) in the forest. It seems that with the cover penalties applying to both sides, the tank will still beat the infantry, while in reality tanks would be practically helpless in that type of terrain.

Re: Tanks among the trees
I've read the manual but it's not clear to me if there're any specific penalties for the mechanized units. It seems that the penalties affect equally mech and non-mech units. It also seems, that if the tank unit is equipped with low velocity gun, it would still perform well against the infantry in t...

Re: Waffen SS
Well, they do not have the Wehrmacht flag. It is a skull and bones pirate flag. (For legal reasons) Their benefit, as Steenv has correctly pointed out, is having another faction on your side. Extra units to attack, hold down flanks, defend. OK, thanks. I will keep an eye on my pirate units then. I'...

Tanks among the trees
What are the penalties for tanks and other mech vehicles, for defending in or attacking into the forest? I've noticed that most of the times, tanks would beat the infantry in that type of terrain. In PC the penalties for attacking infantry in difficult terrain were much more severe and seemed much c...

Waffen SS
Is there any way of visually distinguishing Waffen SS units from the regular units? To me they all look the same, I'm not even sure if I have SS in my core. In PC they had a distinct camo pattern. Also, what is the benefit from using them? Are they just a separate unit pool or do they have some spec...

Can the Stugs be used as anti-tank artillery, meaning that they provide AT support to the adjacent units?
