Yes, either you haven’t captured Cadiz yet, or you have not rebased your planes to Cadiz. Planes don’t “land” at the nearest airbase, they return to their “home” base.

Playing Sidi bou zid and on turn 4, a Tiger I attacks a Sherman, does not appear to destroy it, and then moves into the hex. Both units are in the same hex and the error message occurs.

Having played the latter for hundreds of hours and having just gotten into FG2, my question is this: Is it harder to keep all your core units alive in FG2, than in the others? That is certainly my impression or is it just that I am a newbie at this game?

FYI Slitherine...big fan of PC, PC2, and OOB (put in hundreds of hours in both) but wasn’t going to buy FG2. Then you put out this demo (effectively a demo but better!) and I am sold and will be buying the full game. So here is one vote for demos! Thanks!

I would love to see a Spanish Civil War campaign. I think there would be an interesting array of units and lots of room for “what ifs”. Plus, there is a nice little empty spot on the campaigns map where Spain is!

I have an over-strength 88 with AA vet that on occasion will totally take out a plane but it is rare. If some are able to take out planes with one shot every time, I’d be interested in how they do it!

I find putting an overrun hero on an anti-tank unit particularly if you add a +5 attack on infantry hero (butcher, I believe) can make for a very useful unit.
