Cool announcement!

And BTW, it's "repel", not "repeal".

Just ask, and I'll proof it all for you!

Re: Where to start?

Hi, stormbringer3, and welcome to the forum! Suggest you do the tutorials if you haven't already, then perhaps a Custom map on Low/Easy settings; of particular note for your interests would be the Opponents, Difficulty, and Development options, as well as the Low-High sliders on the right. The toolt...

Re: Issues with gameplay

I'm going off page 109 of the manual (in addition to recollections of when I tried to use a blacksmith improvement in a game a couple of days ago). <snip> Hi, Cassini, The table you're referring to is incorrect, and has been fixed for the next version of the manual (TBA). Here is the data from new ...

Re: Auto self heal and auto train

<snip> Self-healing can be imagined as the basic medical care soldiers got in military camps; the time required to restore their full strength would be directly linked to the severity of their injuries, but not that although this action is also free. And that's where it ends. Do I have an old versi...

If you have troops on a quiet front who are just there in case an ally stabs you in the back then there is nothing else for them to do but train.
True enough! :D

Re: Auto self heal and auto train

Is there a way of telling unit to keep self healing turn by turn and not to bother me again till they're well again? Likewise is there a way of telling unit to keep adding improvements until they have trained themselves in all the available improvements? (In this case I would lose the ability to pr...

Re: Disappointing Game - Regret My Purchase

Graphics are not crisp and sharp. Here we have to humbly confess that this is a valid point. The 3D models in Aggressors cannot be compared to models in AAA games produced by big studios. You are definitely right about this. Note, however, that neither did you pay $60, $70, or even $100 or more for...

Re: Unit Upgrades

I'm really enjoying this game. Love the detail in it. A question though. Is there a table anywhere that shows the upgrade paths for the various factions and unit types? Hey, bilbow, Check the game manual, Sec. 12.2.1, p.136; there are no 'paths' or tables illustrated, but the various factions' unit...

I've created the spreadsheet in the link below with unit combat and movement attributes, and an image of each unit, figured it would be helpful to those planning to mod the units: Aggressors UAS Screen.png That's cool, 76mm! I was going to make one of these. Now I can steal--err... BORROW yours! ;)...

Re: Trade interface is confusing

I think this may relate to the problem I reported re: widescreen & 200% UI. To reiterate, the trade icons appear to be all on the right, with none on the left. If there are lots, they overlap, but if only a couple, you see both -- still only on the right, though. I have a screenshot if necessary...

Apologies in advance, but any help welcome.
First game. Playing Carthage. Run into a couple issues. If there is documentation please just point me in the direction - thanks!

umbro,

The Game Menu has a 'Manual' button; or check this thread.

5) Can be probably added as an extra note in the manual?, I have nothing against it to make it more clear. Done (for next version of manual)! Second and third paragraph of Section 8.2: "As mentioned, up to three units can be stationed on a tile at a time; this is known as the “stacking limit”, whic...

Re: AI Difficulty & Game Difficulty & what they mean

I think the confusion arises from the apparent contradiction of the two statements in the manual: "AI Player Difficulty... Indicates how... aggressive your opponents will be", and "Game Difficulty... affects how aggressive the AI players will be..." (my italics), when it also says that Game Difficul...

Done (albeit not 'officially')! See my thread: http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 21&t=72515

I'm still tweaking them, but would very much like some feedback before posting next version.
