Re: Would you use an understrength prototype?

It seems I'm extreme compared to others, but if you want to limit a unit to 5 strength, why not give only 5 parts instead of 30 or <19 or 15 or whatever? It would reflect history a bit in that there aren't really "spares." This means a Consolidator hero won't circumvent the 5 strength cap (although ...

Re: Bf109z and He111z Implementation

Oh, I should clarify: English is my native language. I think this just shows I'm not very good at communicating even with other native English speakers :) Definitely not, it's not your fault but double-hulled Heinkel  Besides, such situations bring people closer, see we now talk like old frien...

Re: Bf109z and He111z Implementation

If my French were as good as your English, I'd be very happy. As it is... However, you will never know the language well if you don't live in this country among its inhabitants and without contact with your compatriots. I experience this comment daily. Especially since the pandemic started, I can fe...

Re: Bf109z and He111z Implementation

I don't know what the purpose of your post was, but it can be received in different ways, if you wanted to offend me, you failed I was hoping to make you smile. I assume you don't actually care what I name my units or how I play the game, but I thought the idea of an He111z named after you in some ...

However I hope I won't be forced to play with double-hull Heinkel :)
When you write things like this, kondi, it forces me to name my He111z unit "kondi754".

Wow, now I have to rename my entire core after forum posters. How has this never occurred to me before?

Re: Bf109z and He111z Implementation

I think it depends. If the unit in question is something like the Verdeja, in the sense that it's dominant over the equivalent tanks and will have a relatively long lifespan in the core, then I'd say a gift unit is great. These units don't have as hard a time building up experience (because they're ...

Re: Panzer Corps 2: 1940 - Dev Diary #1

I'm inspired, and because of that I have a new unit suggestion. Ask yourself: how can we double the armor and firepower of the Char B2? Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Char B4: two B2s attached to one another side by side. No doubt I will soon be swamped with lucrative offers for design contrac...

Re: Spanish Civil War -(very) early impressions

There's an interesting design wrinkle that you should consider when choosing artillery. The heavy artillery pieces provide defensive supporting fire when adjacent friendly units are attacked by armor . The light artillery pieces provide defensive supporting fire when adjacent friendly units are atta...

Re: Spanish Civil War -(very) early impressions

This is the first campaign I've played in PC2, as I felt it'd be best to approach the campaigns chronologically. So, I'm not entirely certain if it's meant as an "introductory" campaign, but if feels quite challenging (on the 3rd of the 5 difficulty settings), mainly due to the lack of infantry and...

Re: Changing Traits moving from SCW to 1939

I had this problem in my AO'39 game. My general traits were the same as they were during SCW. Saving and reloading did not fix it. It was only a problem for the first scenario, after which the traits I selected for AO'39 applied.

I'm a little late to the discussion, but I'm a huge fan of this change. It also makes the fortify items more useful. Thanks!

Re: weird happening during a scenario...

I was watching a show on 'Antarctica'... and it did cover a detail that I was always unaware of... the one especially dealing with underground 'Volcanic Vents or activity'... which 'emanated/radiated' enough heat to melt portions of the ice under the 'Ice-Pack'... so as to be able to then create fa...

Units have a small ribbon on the bottom right corner of their strength plate to also denote hero assignment.
This ribbon is usually how I notice Nemeses when I'm playing the DLC - sometimes noticeably later than their actual appearance. I am perhaps not the most astute general of pixels.

VRAM is video RAM, a memory resource on a video card that is dedicated to storing textures and such purely for the use of rendering the graphics. Video cards these days have their own memory: they are like extremely dedicated mini computers that live inside your computer and perform specialized task...

Re: DLC 1941 East Front ideation

What a detailed post. Thanks for writing it up! I don't know enough to comment on the conflicts listed, but it looks to me like there's easily enough material for a German AO Eastern Front '41 Autumn DLC and a German AO Eastern Front '41 Winter DLC. Why should we be forced into one year per DLC, aft...

Re: DLC 1940 Prediction Forum Game

Indeed! I watched that live announcement event and was kinda sad that ao40 is that far away :/ i was hoping for 2 dlcs til christmas :D I was, too. I inferred from SCW and '39 that it took about a month to make a DLC of that quality. But I don't complain. I think this is a case where quality is muc...

Awesome looking content, when can we look forward to release with a rough estimate?

Regards,
On Steam it gives the release date of December 10th.
It just shows "Coming Soon!" on the store page for the DLC for me. Where do you see a specific date?

Re: DLC 1940 Prediction Forum Game

Well... I am impressed by Kerensky's openness, productivity and involvement of players. I am NOT impressed by fellow players voting for low impact scenarios such as Channel islands OR fantasy such as 'New Nemesis' while disregarding massive engagements such as Winter War 1940. We were voting...
