Re: Fixed Army Lists for Season 11

For what it's worth, I won't play if the lists are fixed. First, there is not a way to guarantee that the list won't change short of submitting them to an arbitrator. Part of the fun, for me anyway, is adapting my list to my opponent and learning from past errors in list construction as I go along. ...

Re: Challenges and results – Dark Ages, season 10

I have absolutely no interest in finishing up the game. The outcome won't matter as you and I would both be promoted out of the period. I just sent in a turn, but I would like to propose a draw. I don't have the time, interest or bandwidth to play it out.

Division C Result

Bagration - Palmyrans v. MatsuHiroshi Romans 6/34 to 44/43 Palmyrans win.

Average legions couldn't hold up to Superior Legions and Cats. Thanks for the game.

That's my last Imperial game of the season. Thanks to all.

Re: Challenges and results – Imperial, season 10

Bagration - Palmyrans v. Warmonger - Bosporans

18/34 to 43/42 Palmyrans win.

Cats > Lancers. Superior Legions > Average Legions. 'Nuff said. Palymran quality trumped Bosporan quantity. Thanks for the game.

Re: Challenges and results – Imperial, season 10

Division C Result Bagration - Palmyran v. George - Romans 16/34 to 41/37 Palmyrans win. Roman army was more numerous, but not nimble enough to flank the Palmyrans. In the end, the Superior Palmyran legions and Cats ran over the Roman left and swamped them. Thanks for the game. Cheers - Bagration

Bagration - Seljuk Turks v. Batesmotel - Komnenan Byz 32/34 to 39/39 Turks win The craven Turks cowered in a field and on a hill like girls before the Byz KNs and Varangians. Eventually, though, Chris had to enter the bad terrain where the combo of dismounted Ghilmans and Dailami was too much. A nar...

Bagration Turks v. Ulysisgrunt Kom Byz Turks win 16/34 to 34/34. Turks hid like school girls on top of a steep hill from the big, bad knights. Eventually, the mullah was able to turn a flank and release the horse to scatter the Byz supports. Thanks for the game. I've done turns in all my games and w...

From memory, that's how the TT version does it. Third rank shooters cost extra. That's one of my main gripes with the PC version. Free shooters.

Re: Challenges and results – Dark Ages, season 10

Division C result

Bagration (Arabs) 12/46 v. Rexhurley (Gepids) 49/47

Game was about as subtle as a kick in the crotch. Both sides lined up and went at it. Superior Arab foot trumped Average Gepid foot. Badly. Thanks for the game, Rex and for being a good sport.
