With the 20+ sides will this include all the major states at the time such as Macedonia, Ptolemaic Egypt, Carthage, Seleucids and Celts etc?
Also will it feature a Mediterranean campagin?

Many thanks.

I bought a broom head from asda. It has plastic bristles and was some kind of double use brush with half of it red thicker bristles and the other half slightly thiner yellow ones. At first i was going to use the red ones but the yellow bristles are turning out to be perfect.

Late romans-early byzantine

Hi,

does anyone know what the core troops of a late roman army will be say mainly heavy roman legions with mail shirts and large oval shields. Approximatly how many BGs would i need? Also would a early byzantine army be much different?

Thanks all.

A problem I have with 1/72 is that i just buy more and more and now i have so many i'll probally never get them all painted. I find this scale perfect in all other aspects not too big and not too small. Just incase anyone missed it here is a link to a 1/72 Ancients group to help people with army bui...

for anyone using 1/72 figures.

Yeah I am already in that group. I wanted to have a group for people to give ideas on such things as what figures can be used in what army and have them in one place. Sort of a conversion/ancient army reference place. I do have lots of Hat's macedonian phalanx to make the bulk of my troops the carth...

It will never be a big group but i hope people will contribute their ideas on areas such as conversions and wha...

just got some Hat alexanders phalangites and hoplites to form the core of any hellenic army and may add a few specialised units to form perticular armies such as cataphracts for Seleucid etc.

Thinking of Starting a late roman byzantine army as well.

Hi, will the real-time phase play like legion or spartan games or will it be more 'hands on'?

Thanks.
