Re: Bug and re-balancing collection thread
Bugs: 1. Helsinki is not part of Finland, unlike all the other hexes in the country. 2. Spotted naval units are are half-invible next to port and city hexes without units. They display in the toolbar infobox and minimap, but the maphex does not have the unit graphic. Balancing: 1. US does not enter ...

Thanks for reporting the bug, we are working on this one. EDIT: Ok, here is a quick fix for you, please replace the data\Scripts\game\game_combat.lua file with the one provided in an attachment. Let me know if it works fine for you! thanks for the fix, but unfortunately I can't test it. The game's ...

Re: Villev vs Operating AAR
Hi, didn't know you had made an AAR of our match. Interesting to read the things as seen from the other side. Screenshots would be nice, add a few if you still have them. You can post them on imgur ( http://imgur.com/ ) and then click on the image and copy the BBCode field here. The balance shifted ...

counterbattery advice text missing
Text for counterbattery-stat missing.
Also, I suggest making counterbattery take effect also when naval bombardment is conducted in range of counterbattery capable arty.

Some more terrain bugs in Ottoman lands: hexes marked with red dot have grassland, should be dunes

Re: CTGW server Capacity?
Would be great if you added an option for old fashioned PBEM in case the servers won't be maintained anymore at some point in the future.

Re: Crash during MP replay
I've had a few replays where the game hangs also. They've been after already making a turn in another MP game I think, and were solved by going to Task Manager, closing CTGW and starting the replay again. Not helping here, it seems. What about closing the chat box and starting the replay from the bu...

Re: Russian revolutions, making them right.
When France surrendered, there was no German units within 2 mountain hexes of Turin, that I found very curious too, so at minimum it should have taken 2 turns before you would have been able capture Turin. How could of that possibly happen? Did you notice that too? It's possible during your turn to...

Re: Bugs
There are some errors with dunes/desert in Ottoman territory and in Sinai. Virtually the whole Sinai peninsula is dunes, even though the terrain graphic is desert.

Re: Russian revolutions, making them right.
How come Italy/France do not recieve convoys from their colonies in Africa, whereas, the other nations do? snip quote I don't know if the above quote is worth spit as a supporting argument about French and Italian trade/convoys lacking in the CTGW, but thought I might give it shot anyway. It strike...

Re: Russian revolutions, making them right.
Suprass From my Entente point of view; You display a desire for more potent sub victories (not good for me), however, the balance should be a versatile Entente cruiser fleet. Especially, in the Naval research techs. Currently a hidden sub cannot be spotted unless by chance the whole match , untill ...

Re: Russian revolutions, making them right.
Currently in a game with Villev, he is absolutely taking my France apart, but has allowed Russia to take a couple of his eastern most cities. It's near the end of 1914, he knows my mission is to beat the Russian penalities (100% NM right now). The game is going fast, let's wait and see what the % i...

Re: Russian revolutions, making them right.
Let's keep the red standards in the next war. This one is with the double-headed eagle still. ;) I agree, there's the possibility of a "lite" -version with very few changes- possibly just pushing the two revolution events back and making the morale hit in them less severe. And then there's...

Re: Russian revolutions, making them right.
I made a map with the cities and historical development of the front: http://i739.photobucket.com/albums/xx32/ToveriV/russia-progress_zpsdc07e008.jpg So, Russia finally capitulated with 9 cities lost (none at the Ottoman front). Let's analyze the map: 1) Russians made some initial progress in the 19...

Re: Russian revolutions, making them right.
I agree that finding good balance in gameplay should be a priority. It's a game after all, but I think taking a historical approach to this doesn't prevent that. One solution could be making holding Russia together more and more difficult as the war continues- so it would be obvious that they are go...

Russian revolutions, making them right.
Looking at the game files, there are two revolution events in the game for Russia (and a civil war event in Finalnd linked to these! Never seen that one, would be interesting.), that in my opinion depict the revolution woefully wrong. Because of inadequate troops, Russia is normally getting badly st...

Game crash, MP chatbox bug
Game crashes when the chat line currently being entered has some uncommon character ( at least : äöå'^¨) and the line needs to scroll. Newest version (1.30) To repeat the bug: Open multiplayer chatbox, enter a line with at least one ä, ö, ^, ¨, ... and fill in enough characters to cause the line to ...

Re: CTGW 1.30
I'm up for a game. I'd prefer to play as Entente and in the Great War scenario. I read your great AAR, and you'll probably stomp all over me as I haven't got that much experience in MP, but I'll be ready to learn from a defeat. ;) ~1-2 turns a day will probably be the pace I'll manage, sometimes mor...
