The first thing to do is decide wether you want to go for an MV or a DV. I like the idea of being able to turn off the turn limit and not being able to 'harvest' more prestige which brings up another point. It starts to get hard in GC42 (vitebsk) You might like to have a look at some 'AAR's in the the AAR section of the forum. There are lots of people who at various levels (including myself) who have gone through the whole GC and have left replays or reports that give you an idea of the hardness levels...

When paired with a wurfrahmen they are superb at completely destroying partisans and enemy infantry behind the front lines, even strength 15 units with no losses. There are alot of scenarios with this in the later half of the GC and they are essential in some scenarios however you cant let them near...

I prefer siege. It can be done with very little losses but you still get the experience and kills from all the action.

demyansk is an easy scenario which is very useful for racking up kills/farming heroes/getting surrender prestige. There is a bottlenecked killing field in the south and to a lesser extent in the north that they rush into to be slaughtered. The small size and predictable flight patterns make it good ...

Interesting. When have used railguns I have always been underimpressed with thier real world performance and usefullness in the later GC's.

If you look at this very old thread and scroll down you will see someone has done bar graphs of the different sizes of arty at different strengths damage against different types of targets. I would still get rid of the SE infantry and convert it to an SE tank. Once the softcap kicks in it will matter. I agree with captain jack; convert the 15cm to 17cm. I would not bother with 15cm at all and go straight from 10.5 to 17cm. I would convert your captured 10.5 artilliary to a wurfrahmen, ...

So these three 'attacking' scenarios ended up with a prestige gain of 1114 + one overstrengthed KV85 (KV85 = 605)
