Cannot hire centaurs (event)

I'm in the battle for Empire's capital. I found centaurs in a spot,I have plenty of gold, but the options to offer it to hire them are not available. See the screenshot:

Why should it be draggable? Once you select unit and click to summon it, the window disappears and you can position the unit.

You need to select it because later in the game you will have several different units to chose from.

Oh, I thought that's what I was supposed to do. I restarted the mission already and went on without ever visiting the witches. I still get the wolfmother, so it's kind of cheating I guess. I know you are rewriting the quest already, so maybe make sure player can't just get the unit for free without ...

Also, I just noticed there is now 10% cut in Slitherine, so the difference is not that terrible anymore.

If I understand manual correctly, the base pike +100 PoA is for 3 ranks of soldiers and the deep pike PoA (another +100) is for 4 ranks. Would it be possible to make it for example 3 and a half ranks for deep pike? Or maybe make the base pike +150 and deep pike +50, so that the initial losses matte...

They don't arrive as reinforcements, you simply get more points to spend for new units before the battle. This is sometimes useful. For example if you want to switch some units into different type or if you would not have enough points to reinforce all your units.

I have recently realized how terribly vulnerable pikes are to light units. You don't need to disrupt phalanx, you just need to hit it a couple times and immediately it losses some of its PoA. Is there a list of what values each term represents exactly? I was surprised when it turned out enemy unit had actually higher quality than my unit, but the word description seemed to me like it would be lower. I don't remember exactly now, but I would still like to see the list to understand the me...
