Re: Language choices

Then again, if the language files in BASPM are easily modded, that'd be a fine workaround for any linguistic nitpickers. The text files are already available under the SPM-Windows_Data/Scripts subfolder, so you can easily mod them if you want. What Iain was trying to say is that we don't believe we...

what happened Nacho, does the site Admin no longer love you? It looks like you've had your user account downgraded to same level as the rest of us. No custom title, avatar, etc.

Re: Language choices

I realize it's very early in development, but I'd like to go on record with this suggestion for when it gets closer to stable release. I don't know if foreign languages will be choosable in the final game, but I would very much like to see the player given a choice of UK vs. US English. That would ...

Re: Partial failures

( Luckily, some players kindly offered themselves to give me a hand in order to create a big list of possible mission failures, so that will make its way as well into a future build. Do you have more small projects like this that need to be done? Judging by the community here already, I imagine tha...

Re: Partial failures

In a way, it is currently already built into missions. There is a chance of failure, but through the expert work of ground control and any astronauts on the spacecraft, there is a chance for a saving throw. Right now though, we just don't see it occurring, even if it is happening.

NASA's NetworKing

Has anyone else ever seen this program? It runs right in your browser, no download needed. It is a simulation to help the player understand the various networks of satellites flying , and what they do. Without these satellites, many of the missions we undertake in BASPM would have no means of commun...

Was this a .74 save file or earlier with .75 patch? Nacho stated in the patch log that the saves are not compatible.

Re: Gemini and moon

I am very excite! Personally I hope they are implemented sooner rather than later. In my opinion right now the sandbox is directionless without the moon landings. Being able to complete the goal of the game would go a long way to making it more interesting! Directionless? The direction of the early...

Re: Spacestations in Episode 1

I like the idea of having to resupplying SpaceStations on a regular basis, or else their Orbit begins to decay and eventually burn up. Will there still be an astronaut on board once or twice? Depending on the spacestation, SkyLab, Mir, or ISS, they all need to have an expiration date, prob...

Re: Thoughts on BASPM

HI there BASPM folks. I've just joined so i'm a bit of a noob. We are all noobs, some of us are just more noobs than others  5. Input is my next thought. I think some of the interface is unnecessary, for example the construction button is mayb a little pointless. Wouldn't it be easier to have...

Re: BASPM, Basic File Modding

This looks like it could be a lot of fun. I'm already dreaming big, thinking about adding additional missions and components. It might be possible to greatly expand the space plane program for example, and create an entire scenario soley around improving space planes. From the X-15 and its many vari...

Feedback on Gemini, Mars,Venus and Mercury missions

For the Gemini missions that require two capsules, the screen is displaying only one of the pairings of reliability %'s for both launches. Space Craft A has 84% and 82%, Space Craft B had 83% and 78%. Only Space Craft B's astronauts numbers showed up for the entire mission. For the Gemini Docking mi...

Re: Wishlist for future features in updates, DLC, part 2-3,

Well, it would be nice for a "Multi-Game-Episode Pack", which would combine all three episodes into one gigantic monster with a price range of around $60. This would allow one to transfer their saves over and over, and technically, not start over from scratch everytime a new episode is ma...

Re: End date

Does it even make sense to have an end date at this time? If you want us to help test all parts of the game, it would be useful that we could reach all parts of the game. Or maybe it's just me being slow to complete missions and not being able to send all of the mars and Venus missions before the cu...

Re: [SUGGESTION] Unlocking missions

Hi. A suggestion for unlocking the mission. For now, it is so that all the mission in the few programs are unlocked (aka Earth Orbiting Satellites Research). For me, it's a little weird. It was nice to that missions Pegasus, Biosatellites were to unlocked only after the success of the Sputnik, Expl...

This seems like something we as players could create on our own. Except that right now I wouldn't bother with the game having the potential to change frequently.

Re: Space Program Manager V Buzz Aldrin`s Race Into Space

Repeat after me. "Early Beta." Thank you. Seriously though, you are comparing a completed game to one that still has place holder text. Game play polish is very hard to do, and only comes after receiving feedback from many, many testers. BASPM has just started this phase. If you are expect...

Re: [BUGS] (and requests) 0.73 Version

Also I suggest to create one thread by bug / request, much easier for the devs to read than to scroll each post IMHO...
