Re: Warfare 2019

I have asked our Tournaments co-ordinator whether we still have any active reserves, but he didn't think so? Is anyone in contact with Brian? It is very short notice ...

Re: Warfare 2019

Also, we have had a dropout, Jon, so have odd numbers. I am not trying to lure anyone away from their favourite game syatem, but we do happen to also be odd in the FOGR. It would resolve the bye issue in both if anyone were interested in moving into the Rennaissance? I have of course also made the s...

Re: Warfare 2019 Theme

Also, we have had a dropout from the FOG AM competition. I am not trying to lure anyone away from the gentlemanly pursuit that is FOGR, but it would resolve the bye issue if anyone were willing to float over to FOG AM? I will of course also be making the same suggestion on their forum!

Re: Warfare 2019 Theme

Hopefully many of you are already aware, but there are major roadworks on the M4 this weekend. The M4 is fully closed between junctions 6 to 8/9 from 8pm Friday 15th November to 6am Monday 18th November - yes the entire weekend (they are replacing a bridge, which would be quite cool to watch if you ...

Re: Warfare 2019 Theme

Tim How many points for the player with a bye??? Ben Good question, it isn't in the Tournament Rules, rather to my surprise! Standard Warfare rule is that you get 13 as a temporary score for rounds 1-3 (so you go into the next round with a bland average score) but that is then replaced with whateve...

Re: Warfare 2018 - what theme?

Hi all, I am afraid that I have to apologise, as it turns out that free parking is *not* available for competitors after all. Please do make sure that you pay for your parking each day, as the parking attendants will be out and about issuing tickets. Sorry for any disappointment caused by my (as it ...

Re: Warfare theme 2018

Is there any sensible reason why the Runners and Riders haven't been published? Mainly because after posting on Tuesday I wanted to give people a chance to guess, and then Wednesday night is club night and I get back late, and Thursday night I was out again and somewhat tired upon my return. Must b...

Re: Warfare 2018 - what theme?

Hi all, I have now heard that we have been able to arrange that parking this year will be free for all competitors. However, you will need to log in with your vehicle details at the front desk, or you will get ticketed. Please remember, as ticket companies have a pretty strong reputation for being &...

Re: Warfare theme 2018

Hi all, sorry for delay getting back to you all on teh issue of scoring. We are using 35-0, not 25-0. That's what happens when you don't keep up with all the changes for all the rule systems... Also for all your information, I have now heard that we have been able to arrange that parking this...

Re: Warfare Theme

Many apologies gents - I tried to post the R&R here at the end of last week, but for whatever reason it hasn't appeared. Let's try again. Lots of different armies, some more "different" than others! John Patrick Gloucester Free Company Steve  Brown PAW Later Medieval Scots (Continental...

Re: Warfare 18/19 November 2017

Looks like an interesting mix of armies, to this neutral observer. I guess you must have replaced your Tudors, Nik, since I bought a whole Tudor (and other bits) army from you years back, and they have done sterling service since as various late 15th century western europeans. :D I for one predict t...

Hi all,

Just a reminder that lists were supposed to be with me last weekend. Can I have the missing ones (about half of you ...) a.s.a.p?

Thanks,

You'd be very welcome Nik - we hardly see you these days! If you do want to at least fill in the bye, please come along and say Hi to Dave Mather, Kevin and myself on Saturday morning and we'll fill you into the space. Do you know what the theme is and do you have any army to fit (https://dl.dropbox...
