late to this post but I agree 100%...the maps currently are huge/small/tiny continents. Suggest to take a few themes (continents, archipelago, utterly random landmasses, all-land with lakes/seas) and just build a few randomizer variations for each that the player can select to "adjust the map genera...

Ah sorry I forgot to hit "notify me when a reply is posted" when I created the thread. The attached logs may or may not help...as I continued playing for the next few days... If it happens again, I will make sure to offload the logs dir as well as the savegames. Hopefully the enclosed pandora.error....

I think the best use of ships would be to let them automatically defend troop transport on the same hex than them, making the transport immune to all attack (strike ops included) as long as the boat is not sunk. This would solve the super weak transport problem and give a strategic value to boats. ...

This is great news as there is a whole lot more game here waiting to be realized. The graphics/atmosphere/music, vision and execution to date are very compelling.

Near term, I'm just hoping for a switch to turn off WMDs and play it as a wargame.

Any word on a nuke-disable game option or anti-nuke etc? At this point I"m happy to play Pandora as a sci-fi war game but without any of the Nuke or other WMDs.

Appreciate the replies. I guess I will await some sort of status update from the devs on what they are working on...and hope that disable-WMDs is an upcoming game option.
