Brand new copy of game wont start after Game Loader

Hi there, Long time player here and I got a copy of the game for my son during the Steam Sale (and the Epic giveaway.) However no matter where he installs it from (Epic or Steam) the game starts, opens the loader screen and then when you press play, it just stops. Steam goes back to showing the game...

Re: No Part 2 and 3?

Well call me late to the party. I am very sad to hear there will be no programs beyond the moon. I just started playing this again and was thinking about the fun of a Mars mission. Guess not know. Well at least there is still Kerbal Space Progam where I can go anywhere I want, but that is a bit diff...

Re: will recon ever work?

Seems like most of these games have Reconnaissance by Death. It would be nice if the recon units did act more like the scouts in Panzer Corps. At least they have a chance to survive a recon mission. (John Tiller's Campaign series has the same problem and I love that game too.) Recon units are classi...

Re: overwhelmed by unit choices

Heck yes I like it! :) One thing about Warhammer 40K is the customization. I think that is part of what keeps people going with the minis game. And that is one critical aspect of the universe that they got right in this game. The trick with all the units is just to understand what is best at what an...

Re: Final stand at Acheron

Trust me, this mission is a killer and seems really tough. But just fight it out, even if it looks hopeless. "The Imperial Guard will hold the line!" The Emperor Protects, Duncan P.S. Seriously, the story aspects of this mission are great. Just keep fighting and hold as long as you can.

I hope it has capital ships. Not really interested in snub fighters right now. Bring out the big boys.

Thanks,

Re: RC weapon balance

If we could get a list of all suspected differences between the tabletop and the game that would be useful. We may not want to change things but being aware of them is useful. This is exactly what I have been trying to do! Want my Data Mine Spreadsheet? It has comparisons for all weapons vs. Tablet...

Re: release candidate feedback

Might as well throw my feedback in here too. VERY impressed! You guys have listened to us and this game is so much better now. I really am glad it improved. The Orks feel a lot more Orky. I just played Act 3 mission 1 again. last time it was a cake walk. This time it was much less certain and my for...

I think those changes will make it much better. That said, you still need to tune the AI about it not firing at anything but infantry.

Re: Thoughts on Morale

Hmm, well I don't know that I like Organization any better, but on the other hand since it does not work as much like Morale in 40K TT, a change of name is needed.

Combat Readiness?
Initiative? (Already used right?)
Effectiveness?

Just some ideas.

Re: Infantry issues, or how to make them not suck

I just think the handling of weapon power is skewed in this game. A soft and a hard attack would go a long way instead of using rate of fire, power and armor penetration. Yeah, that's right. Panzercorps has AT and AI values right? That would have been good for this game. (They had AA to, which coul...
