I've exactly the same problem playing V1.05b.
Therefore I think it's a bug.

The only workaround is switching off the External threat if you start the next game.

Snipers don't fit very well to Panzer Corps.
Nevertheless I use one in my mod. Basic features:
range=1
size=6
camo flag (like a submarine)
Infantry class

Yes it's useful, thank you!

It's the best fit so far. I had only ZIS-5 with 20mm. ZIS-6 with 37mm seems to be unusual.

I'm searching for unit pictures for a soviet unit ZIS 37mm (AA and AT mode).
It's a 37mm flak mounted on a truck.

Subs need a switchable surface mode. Actually all subs are submerged.

You can mod this, but I assume most users don't want to mod but just play.

Hint: In WW2 history the submarines move surfaced most of time.

The bug is here the game crashes, if you switch from a unit with nopurchase flag to a unit with nopurchase flag.
