but in this case, the replacements cost the same as those you lost. its not cost per legion since the start of the game, the formula only works against how many you currently have. And that's the issue, due to the spiraling costs as you rebuild armies you are progessively weakened vis a vis an enem...

Honestly Rome is famous (especially in early to mid game period) for having armies wiped out repeatedly and just raising new ones, so really for historical sake the spiraling costs shouldn't kick in until after Rome already has 5-10 legions. but in this case, the replacements cost the same as those...

Honestly Rome is famous (especially in early to mid game period) for having armies wiped out repeatedly and just raising new ones, so really for historical sake the spiraling costs shouldn't kick in until after Rome already has 5-10 legions.

My understanding is that all the benefits of having troops in a region are the same no matter whether the troops are in garrison or in the field.

So with the flank cavalry, going by the screenshot it appears that the two squares on the flank are available only for cavalry units - a nice addition to make cavalry more useful. i have one question about it though, does this mean that all terrain type frontages will be increased to fit this in or ...

Those on steam may me be auto-patched without realising it, so it will probably be better just to message everyone to ignore the script warning when the patch comes out.

History is replete with instances of one ally breaking an alliance and attacking the other.

As the game stands it takes two turns to break an alliance and then declare war, in my view this is plenty of warning.
