It looks worse when you see cavalry trying to go up hill, they just stretch really strangely.

Re: servers down? I Can't finish my turn. 10/26/ 22:18

Yes I couldnt submit my turn yesterday either had to forfeit it. I dont know why there isnt an option to leave it pending unsent so you can try again later. I spent a long time on setting up and now going to have to do it all again. And will I be able to set up properly because it was my first turn?...

Yeah I mentioned this during the beta - strange use of colours in the GUI.

Re: Cant play this game on Steam without internet access

The issue could be the launcher being unable to fetch the latest news rather than the game itself needing internet access. I think the issue is with STEAM off-line access, the on-line adverts do not stop the game working without internet access, the adverts just don't load. This does not stop the n...

Re: Cant play this game on Steam without internet access

If it happen again I will try rebooting my computer to see if that fixes it. But I did have the game running fine offline beforehand as the internet went off in the middle of a battle, it was only when I exited the game and tried to restart it that it crashed at the main menu. I've looked and there...

Re: Cant play this game on Steam without internet access

It may well have been a one off issue caused by the internet going off whilst I was in the middle of the game. Then when I exited and tried to restart wihtout internet access its possible the computer/Steam/the game thought I still had internet access and tried to load the adverts etc as normal. Whe...

Cant play this game on Steam without internet access

Yesterday my internet went off for most of the day (typical Sky rubbish service) and I was surprised to find that I couldnt play this game offline without the internet access. Everytime I tried to run the game I got an error. Are the developers aware of this? Certainly other Slitherine games I play ...

Re: will there be a physical boxed version?

You should offer extras for your games, like printable maps, printed manuals etc on your website in case people want to buy them separately from the standard game. I am sure they would be popular.

Re: release in early or late 2019?

Yes I am far more interested in this game than in Paradox's game, more many reasons. I think if I play another Paradox game I might implode is one of them. I want to see some fresh ideas in this genre, it badly needs some. One thing though I would say is I am not that keen on the GUI as it stands. T...

Steam?

I liked this game years ago and I see it got a new patch this year. I lost my older versions code so I was wondering if this is likely to go to Steam? It still looks like a really good game.

Re: Legions Triumphant Tournament

So annoying that I got timed out before I could finish the last game and shame for my rival because he would have won and got a higher score than he did. Just didn't realise the tournament was finishing today! And very confusing because I couldn't figure out why the battle had ended and I hadn't los...

Re: Field of Glory II Tournament Suggestions

I am finding the Tournament very strangely set up. For one thing it seems that I have fought against two people roughly my skill level which was very good and lucky, but looking at others there seem to be a lot of very good players put against a lot of very inexperienced players and that is skewing ...

Re: I don't know the boardgame, but "Over the Reich"

The best ever BoB board game I have ever played was a free game that came with tokens and a map that I had to cut out that came in the Battle or Victor comic or something like that in the 70s - it was a great game. Cant remember anything about it though now but I remember it being a really good game.

Hmmm

Well it looks sort of ok. But do those planes represent a flight or an individual plane? We had loads of planes in Rowans Battle of Britain Wings of Valour game and it was superb but if they are individual planes then the skies are far too empty. I presume as this is a strategic/tactical game that t...

Re: Sandbox Campaign suggestions

I would love to see unpredictability added into all of the battles - a way to do this would be to add a random event to each one (possibly semi random based on your previous battle results) these events could be things like: - The troops are tired and have lower strength or morale - The cavalry has ...
