Re: Upgrade to box and get $ back for every $ spent
Upgraded the English Civil War, but no game manual shipped just box and CD. - You may want to re-word the Box/CD and printed manual in the description. I would not have ordered if this was known. Just not spelled out real well on the CL and the DX versions on the page. Glad Sengoku Jidai came with i...

Re: REFUND?
I disagree, I think $20 was well spent with this game. - Now the meal I had the other night was waste of $17, now that was money was a bad deal. :D A McDonalds hamburger plain and french fries and a drink is a better purchase than this game. A meal will last 30 minutes. A game can last for 30 years...

Re: A Shame ?
How much did you pay for COH? Guessing more than than $20. I have both too and the board game versions, There are things on both I would like to change, but it will be alright since I do not have to roundup others to play. - FYI, COH has a solo option coming, can't wait to get that for the board game.

Re: REFUND?
Maybe check out the board game manual for HoN, I'm sure it will help. You have to create a log in to down load.

Plus there are some game tools you can down load and have printed off too.

Re: Not Enough Content for $20
I think it is great value for $20. - A terrible deal was when I bought lunch the other day at Wendy's and tried the new pulled pork sandwich combo meals for the wife I. Wish I had that $16-17 back.

Re: Iraq or Afghanistan?
I totally get what you are saying :D I actually want to do a boer war adaption, think about it, it was a COIN war, British troop, railways, wagon trains, blockhouses etc ( yes I am South African) The Boer war would be AWESOME! Now that is a place no war games go, and really need to. Last ti...

Re: Detecting enemy spawn points
Wait until you drop a base on/next to a spawn point. You see them running all round and it becomes the mother load for PP.

Or spend 10 mins. reading the manual to get the most out of the game. Maybe even read couple times to really, really get it.

Re: First turn tactics, whatcha got...
You can tell who reads the manual and who jumps right in to this awesome game.(It clearly states the HQ does not get attacked page 14-15.) - Me I'm old school from the days when they shipped with big manuals, I have to read first then jump in.

Re: Thoroughly enjoyable IMHO....
I have learned.... that 'mine clearing is important'.... the APC can be fun.... Ambushes can be frustrating but also exhilarating (especially when 1 unit fights off 3 enemy)... getting the drop on some RPG's before they get you is extremely satisfying... supply flights are 'anxious moments' and I so...
